Tempted by the long odds runners in the 16:35. Seven runners, 3 at short odds, one at 33/1, one at 50/1 and two at 100/1. Only need to be lucky once like at Nando Parado at Royal Ascot this year (150/1 winner in 12 horse race).

Gowran Park in Kilkenny is not too far away from here, Tramore is nearer in Waterford but Wexford is about 10 miles from here.

The bit that caught my eye was the runner "Ennistymon" - a town in County Clare, where my paternal grandfather was born
in 1900.

Planned on going to the Champions Day at Leopardsdown this year. Dublin is only 45 mins from Leeds/Bradford with Ryanair. Obviously the pandemic put paid to this.
