I'm trying to move to the south stand as the atmosphere is dead where I am. What's the vibe like generally? From where I sit, the south stand looks grear

Partly full of people who want to sing, partly full of people who moved there because it was the cheapest seats and part full of people moaning. It could be a lot better. If you’re the first group come and join us but if you’re part of the second or third then really don’t bother.

We have a seat high in the Park Lane my brother has been having some health issues and getting up to he seat has been a real pain for him - Spurs have actually been quite good in trying to organise a move for us though they haven't offered us an alternative seat with easier access yet - they have been quite helpful to him so far

The ticket office, while not perfect are a million times more help than they were as recent as 4/5 seasons ago.

This is the criteria for carrying over your ST:

The Successful Criteria and the supporting documentation required to qualify, are:

• You are directly shielding and can provide the NHS/Government letter advising you to do so, with your name and address which matches the one registered with your Season Ticket

• Someone in your household is shielding and can provide the NHS/Government letter advising them to shield, and the address matches the one registered with your Season Ticket

• You are over the age of 70 and you do not have the NHS/Government letter, but due to government advice will be shielding

• You are shielding due to an underlying medical condition, and do not have the NHS/Government letter, but can provide supporting documentation in relation to your condition

• If you work with individuals who are required to shield, you must provide the NHS/government letter advising you or proof of your occupation as supporting documentation
If you do not meet the above criteria, but feel your circumstances should be considered, then please fill in the form and outline these details when you are prompted to do so - should we require further information, we shall be in touch.

I'm the former. I sing, so does the guy next to me and chap in front. But the others around us are mainly silent, they don't sing or moan. There are a lot of season ticket holders around me but theu don't seem to have any passion for the game. The worst are the tourists, someone started filming us once and we told him to put it away

Edited to say that it's the British tourists who are silent, the Koreans I've sat with have all got properly in to it, likewise a couple of New Zealanders

There’s a lot of that around me in block 257. The moaning by the people in the row behind and in front of me (when they turn up) make the games an utter joyless experience. I put my ticket for the Man U game on the exchange because I’d had enough of it and couldn’t face going and having to listen to them. The way they go on I guarantee they moaned when we were good too.

Had the same in 258. Bloke in front of me going on about what a super fan he is because he had a season ticket in the 90's. All he does is moan for 90 minutes. Still won't have to put up with that next year. Am going back to my Bronze membership as fuck nose if I'll have a job by the end of the year.

Thanks, that's brilliant and answers the questions I have been trying for a week to get clarified. Where did you find it? Is there a link or did you get an email?

That was from a direct email from the club.

And.... believe it or not.... they’ve already replied to my completion of the form. I only sent it back an hour ago and they’ve just confirmed my ticket has been deferred.

Or the 4th group that wanted to be part of the 'White Wall' but who had absolutely no intention of contributing to its atmosphere. People literally cannot wait to sit down. Don’t even need the game to have started!

The Club have responded to my questions about how they plan to reduce capacity - just a stock answer

'During these exceptional and unprecedented times, we shall be continuously reviewing and assessing our stadium operations and logistics to ensure they adhere to all health and safety guidelines, as set out by the government.

We will only bring supporters back to the stadium if and when it is appropriate to do so, at which stage all necessary health and safety measures and guidelines will be shared with supporters.'

If anything, the latest from the Govt today is more useful

I intend to renew but still have doubts about travelling down by train and tube.
My thinking is if they can only have say 40% capacity and it’s done by ballot then I don’t apply for the ballot, dependent , of course, if you can chose not to apply?

Had a further reply regarding entry to the stadium without a compatible device from Spurs

"Therefore, if you do not have a compatible device we will circulate information regarding how it will work for yourself differently to supporters with compatible devices.

Kind regards,
Conor "

So it looks like for old fogey's like myself who can't be bothered to keep up with the latest technology there is another solution , probably have to have a micro chip inserted like my cat :)

Sounds good - hopefully it's just a smartcard (like an Oyster) or something. And they could do with updating their app for better compatibility and ease of use too. There's perfectly good cheap smartphones now which I think a lot of "old fogeys" could get a lot of good out of (e.g. Nokia 1.3 is £80), but the Spurs app is a total nightmare.

£80 cheap !!!, I have a non internet Nokia 105 , £15 including postage from the Channels Islands, that's what I call cheap.

Interested to know how fans who share their season tickets get around the fact that the Ticket Share scheme will apply next season only to FULL CAPACITY matches, as declared by the ticket office. Given that distancing is required once supporters return, capacity is likely to be 40/50 % and that could be for the whole season. Will it still be possible to pull the old trick of using the Spurs app to get stadium access for your "ticket buddy" (particularly for Cup games when you couldn't Ticket Share) given that Spurs are saying photo ID will be required ? I know there is an "amnesty" where you can declare who actually uses the season ticket - but presumably they'd ban you if you said you shared it ? Any informed advice welcome !

I read someone else's post saying that ticket share will not be applicable for next season at all.

I can't imagine they will check photo ID. They said that last season and they never bothered

Yes - Ticket Share looks certain to be out all next season. Not so sure about photo ID not happening though - it might be compulsory to allow for Covid 19 Track and Trace. In the "amnesty" on who actually uses the season ticket does anyone know if you could declare two names sharing it ? And could they be two names but not the season ticket holder ?

The world has changed so much since last season. They NEED to know who is in the stadium now and I'm pretty sure that 90% of fans will be photo ID checked.
