I think he is still the best deliverer of a cross in world football, however that isn't enough. He is too slow to play on the right and there isn't a place for him in center midfield, we would be overrun in midfield if he played.

If there is a place for Huddlestone, there is a place for Beckham.

Because Becks is a much better player, even at his age.

Although I think this idea is long gone now, shame as I would have loved to have Becks in our squad a few years back.

He won't sign for a prem side though.

When Harry tried yes, now it's probably a year to late. Obviously his mental approach and sheer professionalism is something we could use, not to mention his assistance in getting the new development funded. If he wanted to take a coaching badge them we'd be stupid not to assist. There would certainly be publicity in it.

The guy has had huge obstacles in his career, getting sent off v Argentina and hated by the press and public, turning that around, being the only guy trying against Greece to get us to a World Cup, told he'll never play for Real Madrid again and forced the coach to change his mind and pick him every week. You'd have to be plain nuts to think that kind of mental strength wouldn't be a plus.

If the Pav's and Gio's of this world had that mental ability, then they could have had great Spurs careers. Love him or hate him, he has what a lot of other players do not.

He could certainly contribute. He could work with our wingers and teach them how to deliver pin point deliveries into the box. If people think one of the best passers of a ball couldn't contribute to the team they are nuts. He's not exactly been on holiday for the past 5 years he's been playing pro football. In anyways, just having him in the changing room could be a huge impact.

A cardboard cut-out would have almost as big an effect
but at a fraction of the cost.

That's just it, I don't think there is a place for Huddlestone at all, he is only playing because we lack cover for Dembele.

Beckham will put in a better shift than most of the guys on the team, guaranteed. Can still boss a game if he wants to.

But.... who will all those brilliant crosses go to? Defoe? :ROFLMAO:

So some think he is not good enough for us , yet he signs for a team still in the CL, will probably win the French title, have players like Zlatan and who just signed a Brazilian kid for £ 34 M

Beckham is a footballing icon, many players especially English would look u to him and of, maybe subconsciously, upped their game. For six months he would have easily paid for himself, it's simply a no brainer as long as he wasn't looking 1st team football.
