If we're looking to bolster our commercial side surely signing Beckham is a no brainer.I still firmly believe hes got a lot to offer playing wise too.Im hoping were his next club and its announced on Thursday

I'd love beckham in a spurs shirt. If anyone thinks he's got nothing to offer they need their head checked.

On balance of things I would say no, but when you consider the likes of Jenas, Bentley and Hundredstone made our 25 man squad this year... would rather have him than any of those three.

What is the point? I don't think he would fit in the system AVB seems to want to play and whether he has the fitness or the ability to play for a champions league chasing team in the premier league is not certain.

Will there ever be an end to this? At what point does it stop being David and start being Brooklyn? How many sons does he have now? :(

It was a bad idea a year ago and unlike wine it hasn't improved.
Sign him as an ambassador, he smiles real nice.
But not as a player, he couldn't hack it now.
Being better than Jenas these days doesn't make him good.
Surprised Harry hasn't made him an offer.

A coach. He'd be great around the place.
Can't see him being an ambassador for anyone other than Man Utd though...

Won't happen, we wouldn't be able to give him enough game time to justify what it would likely cost. We could let him keep 100% of image rights, but it would still mean other players are on a newly "low" wage. Unless he's willing to take a very massive pay cut.

Shame though, the man is 100% a winner and we need as many of those as we can get.
