I got into an debate with a colleague over ****bell the other day. He was going on about how white players get more and better chances than black players who want to go into management and cited Gerrard and Lampard as examples. Fair enough, that's all true. But then he brought up ****bell as a black manager who was only given shit jobs, to which my response was basically "but he's a **** who's tried to screw over every team he's ever been at. Would you (my colleague in this case is an ex-pro footballer) want to be managed by someone with his track record?"

He accepted my point, thankfully as I was getting angrier the more I had to talk about that ****

His Macclesfield tenure was actually quite successful given the shitshow the club was in. Just managing to keep them up was seen as a pretty decent achievment, it was all for nothing when they were liquidated of course.
