Any football song needs to be as simple as possible so how about this to You've lost that loving feeling?

We've got Pochettino,
Whoa Pochettino,
We've got Pochettino,
Now it's on, on, on, whoa.

To the tune of Lola by The Kinks.

Now Spurs are the greatest team in the land
And Mauricio is our greatest man
Poc-he-ttino!
Po-po-poc-hettino!
Po-po-poc-hettino!

I suggested using that for Lamela when we signed him. Unfortunately he didn't warrant a song for the first two years but possibly does now

To 'I had a little turtle" (a parenting thing!) and many others...

His name is Pochettino
He's got the magic touch
He's come from Argentina
To take Tottenham to the top

From Harry Kane to Hugo
He's got them all in place
Our heroes of the Lane are here
To win the title race

Poch Poch Poch Poch Poch etc

Today is MoPo's birthday. I was at the Fiorentina and Swansea matches and although some in the Park Lane and Shelf side tried to start singing for MoPo, it didn't really get going.

We need to have a good catchy song for him going which is really strong and loud. He is the type of guy of would love us to show him that he is appreciated. Time after time, he has evidently expressed his appreciation and respect towards us the fans.
He has been saying how important we are to the team and that we have helped the team to arrive in the position we are in right now. He keeps saying we are like one big family with good respect for one another and in that he always make it a point to include us the fans.

HE DESERVES ALL THE PRAISES from us, he's earned after all.

I agree with the poster above - we really need some proper chanting for our Poch. We need something that is really easy to get going / keep going...

My suggestions, in no particular order:

POCH-ET-TINO! POCH-ET-TINO! (like the Argentina fans' chant)

Pochettino, he's a yiddo (obvious tune)

Pochettino, Pochettino, he was born to manage Spurs! He was born to manage Spurs! (also obvious tune)

I was thinking, to the tune which we sang for Super Pav.........

Super...Super Poch, Super...Super Poch, Super..Super Poch, Super Pochettino.

I really think, it's easy to sing, good tune for all. And it will catch on easily.

I am quoting one of my previous posts, which I think will really be good, simple and catchy for all to sing to.

A good catchy number, known by billions.

What about as a one off, 'Happy Birthday to you, Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday MoPo (and Toby), Happy birthday to you.

My post was intended for a song on match-days. As for his and Toby's birthday, I agree, the usual ' Happy Birthday To You' will suffice.

To answer the thread title, what about keeping it simple : 'Happy Birthday dear Mauricio'
