Think the thing that winds me up most about alli is hes never gets dropped or subbed when he is clearly the weakest link and laziest player we have makes Berbatov look like scott parker

That whole counter attack summed us up.

Moura drives at the defence slowly and with no urgency to make the Southampton defenders commit. Then Alli doesn't attack the defender and when he does pass it, it is so feeble and weak.

Amazing in the space of 12 months we’ve gone from great entertainers to this shite. I’m getting zero joy from watching us atm ☹️

No it isn't. The law I assume you are referring to related to the ball hitting an attacking players hand if a goal is scored
Sorry, forgot CL and PL have different rules now. Though tbf no one ever followed the old rules (they required the ref to be psychic and know the players' intentions)

Prob should have been a pen though:
HANDLING THE BALL

It is an offence if a player:
  • deliberately touches the ball with their hand/arm, including moving the hand/arm towards the ball
  • gains possession/control of the ball after it has touched their hand/arm and then:
    • scores in the opponents’ goal
    • creates a goal-scoring opportunity
  • scores in the opponents’ goal directly from their hand/arm, even if accidental, including by the goalkeeper
It is usually an offence if a player:

  • touches the ball with their hand/arm when:
    • the hand/arm has made their body unnaturally bigger
    • the hand/arm is above/beyond their shoulder level (unless the player deliberately plays the ball which then touches their hand/arm)
The above offences apply even if the ball touches a player’s hand/arm directly from the head or body (including the foot) of another player who is close.

Being Dele off, make GLC the no.10, and bring on Lamela. Wish we had Parrott on the bench.
