Saw Nigel Quashie in Cruise Flannels in Nottingham.

Saw the Pompey squad in departures at Southampton airport the day we beat them just before christmas.

They were all pitching up to the bar just as i came out the bogs about to board for my flight so didnt get the chance to try and have chat. It seems like Mendes is the off-the-pitch leader there as they were all crowding around him whilst he was chatting away.

Bouba Diop looked a right chav with his extra high cap turned at a stupid angle. - He would probably fit right in with Boateng & Lennon!


Also saw Brian Robson in the English Pub at the Disney Epcot Centre in Florida about 16/17 years ago. Seemed like a really nice bloke and chatted with me and my dad for about 15 minutes while we had lunch. And signed my disney autograph book (I was only 9!)

I've met Micheal Dawson in a local Italian restaurant, it was his bday so I went over and actually said "I'm sorry to bother you, I just wanted to wish you a happy birthday", he and his his Mrs seems very nice!

Seen Keano in a convertible porsche I think it was, a few years ago near mine, he also used to visit a friend who used to live in my street (alright for some) :lol:

Met Les Ferdinand as he used to live a couple of roads away from me

I saw Overmars loads when he played for the goons as he lived near me and was very 'out and about' in the local area

Saw Reyes when he played for the goons, he also lived very near me

Saw Mabbut's car a month ago parked near ours in a local retail park, I was gonna wait for him but decided that was a bit sad :lol:

I've met Jennings (he's a friend of my Dad's) - that was years ago though

And finally (I think), I met Mr Ginola at a local Waitrose! He looked damn hot - and I said so, in no uncertain terms, in front of my gooner boyfriend who wasn't very pleased :lol:

And yeh, I think Joe Cole is quite thick... I remember on sky one's "soccer idol" program, the idol... who i'll call Dave cos I can't remember his actual name... went and said "Hi, I'm Dave, the new academy player" and Joe Cole went "Hi, nice to meet you, I'm Joe Cole" and Dave said "yeah, I know :lol:" and Cole looked bemused and said "ah, I didn't think I'd met you yet!" :rofl:

I high-fived KAKA once at a football match.

He was having a bad game and the gaffer wanted to 'freshen things up,' so he bought me on for him.

Kaka wasn't reluctant to leave the field, in all honesty I think he knows that I'm the more 'complete' player.

As well as my full time job, i also work in woolworths at the weekend. i went into work yesterday morning and was told that jimmy greaves had been in the store during the week!!

I was gutted.

To be honest though, its prob for the best. i hear he's a bit moody. Prob wouldn't have liked me calling him a yiddo.

Anyone else spotted players out and about? What did you do?
