Tell them they have their own ready-made thread awaiting their input - how could they resist?

Do you ever catch games in Hollywoods? I get an email abou what games they plan to show but they seem to usually go for Liverpool. Was thinking of getting over there for that one if you are interested.

There is a time difference here so you might be able to catch a game before it happens in the UK. Or you could see the mighty FC Seoul at the impressive WC stadium. I saw them against Man U in the summer. The Korean fans sang from 30 minutes after the game until the final whistle. Even when they were 0-3 down after 20 minutes.

I’m due back in London on the Saturday afternoon of FA Cup 3rd round day so it looks like I’ll just miss out on a South Korean Matchday meet-up. Hopefully our game will be on tv that weekend as it’s the only way I’ll make the game!

Were the FC Seoul fans singing FC Seoul or Man United songs?

They were all Korean FC Seoul songs. The opposite end had the Man U supporters Korea club. They sang some strange Man U songs. From my experience united fans usually have a lot of different and imagianative songs, but these guys just chanted "M.U.F.C", which would stand for "My Underpants are Full of Cheese", or "Mice Urinate on Fergies Chopper", or even "Moosehead Ugly Floppy Cheeks".
It was pretty confusing for the neutral fans.

You will probably be about an hour from Seoul on the subway, but it depends where in Incheon you will be. Let me know the area and I will see what I can let you know. If you tell me the name of the school or academy that you are going to work for then I will see what I can find out about it if you like.

I lived in Incheon for a year. It was ok but Seoul I much prefer Seoul. I know other people who had a great time there, though, so it all depends on where in the city you are and how you are treated by your employer.

You will miss the football, but we do get all the Spurs games on TV, usually live because of mr Lee. Kick off is just 8-9 hours later here, so European games are on at 5am.

Yeah I shall be going out there too with the above yid, I talked him into it. Will be a good thing, I am considering schools in Seoul but want to be in Incheon to be closer to mates. Have a call back about a school in Bundang on monday, which is a prelude to having an interview... should be interesting.

Liam there is an express bus that takes 45 mins apparently but then again it depends where in Seoul the games are on.

What do folks think of Bundang?

I will be looking for a football team when im out there... I have played at a very high standard so any pointers of where to look for good teams?

liam17oi you might find this site useful - and it has links to the TV stations' web sites

Cheers geez

Cheers mate, thats some great info. I'll give you a few schools that offer me some jobs. Do you usually go out in Seoul with other spurs fans?

Spurs in Seoul/South Korea

Hello,

I will be living and teaching in Seoul in a month or so. I was wondering if there's a group of supporters there? Also, which pubs are friendly for football viewing?
