Bit of lighthearted fun after the transfer window. Wanted to vote and see which generational team of players coached by spurs managers in recent times is the best.
rules are players at their peak, managerial skills not involved only using their names to identify the teams.
may be some inaccuracies as well tried to go with what I remember the first team was. I think one team is a clear winner for me but interested in seeing the second place.

Not even close IMO. The team under Poch were superb. A pleasure to watch. Hard to beat. Had everything. Except a trophy. ?

Edit - I would say Dier was arguably one of our best midfielders in that Poch era until he got his injury, rather than Wanyama.

There is almost nothing quite like having a Dembele in your team is there. Looking forward to the eventual Bissouma, Sarr, Bentancur era.

It's the Pochettino team by far, superior in every single area of the pitch except maybe Redknapp's midfield.

Would be interested to see which team people have in second - Conte, Redknapp, possibly even an outside shot for Jol?

for me in terms of after Poch. It would be Redknapps team, Jols, Conte then AVB. Jols team came a lot closer than we think to competing. Struggled against the top 4 but absolutely dominated the other teams. Surprised also that Carrick doesn’t get into many recent top 11s. Arguable the best Dm but hard getting him into a team with Dembele, Eriksen and Modric.

Poch had the strongest overall team but good lord that Redknapp team in full flight was a joy to behold.

Not hard because he was magic(Poch). But Jol was a breathe of fresh air, loved the club got us all believing again. Plus that end of season fans forum interview was amazing.

No competition. The Poch team in 2016/17 had everything in the starting XI. It’s only the lack of depth that let us down. It’s fantasy land, but if we had a bench which didn’t have a massive drop off in quality we could and should have won a couple of pots at the very least.
