Well I'm not too sure how many Aussies are on this site but ill make this anyway.

The best and most used site for Yids down under is www.ozspurs.com

They have meet ups in every major city, I went to all the European games in Perth and can say they are a great bunch of lads and throughly enjoyed it.

Hopefully i can help with the queries of anyone looking to come down for a holiday as well.

Cheers

Nice one, fruitbat.

Archibald (I think it was) invited me to a meet last season while I was in Melbourne. Unfortunately the in-laws would have probably disowned me if I left the house at 2am to go into town (from Caulfield) to watch a footy game, so I bottled it and just followed it online.

I'll be back in Melbourne for 2 weeks in November and 2 weeks at Christmas, so if anyone is in the area and fancies meeting up, I'll see what I can manage

One of our Spurs in Hong Kong lads is down in Australia right now, I think he's a member on ozspurs - in fact his log in name on SiHK is ozspur. Strange but true.

Add me to the list of Spurs from Oz - hence the nic!

Currently living in Acton in West London (shit hole - last week 2 people were robbed at gunpoint outside our house).

On a brighter note, a Spurs season ticket holder (who I met in Thailand on my honeymoon in 2005!!) has kindly arranged a ticket to the Everton game at the Lane in 2 weeks. I can't bloody wait - it will be amazing!

Will definately check out the ozspurs site when I get home in a year or so. Sick to death of watching football with gooner fans.

I signed up with ozspurs a few months back in preparartion for a trip to Oz in December. Very helpful and there seems to be a very good community on there with plenty of people looking out for others when it comes to special offers/shipping/tickets and the like.

Been in oz 16 years but 600 gamer before leaving London. Still play, coach and saw most games live last season via Foxtel or the Unmentionable. Going back to London in October and will take in the Blackburn game while there. COYS.

I'm a malaysian who's in oz. Think i posted a couple of months ago before i came about yids here in sydney and they introduced me to ozspurs. Signed up alright but didnt have the time to come down for the get-together. I'm nearly done with my training here and will be back at the end of the month earliest. Maybe i'll be able to drop by a few games before i leave.

I'm going to join Ozspurs now. Ive lived in Brisbane all my life and been supporting spurs since i was 5. I have to admit thought you don't hear much about spurs over hear. Hopefully with us doing so well we will get a new fan base over in Australia as well.

With the games in a different time zone its hard to catch the matches, but ill be watching the game vs Sunderland this weekend :)

But Bill, you won't be at the game so therefore I am a 'real fan' and i get my wish over yours!

Re where to watch the game;

I normally got the Triple Ace Bar on Elizabeth and Campbell downtown as;
1. It's the SpursOz hang out
2. I live down the road (and don't have Foxtel)
3. The game is always gonna be on.

Negatives
1. No Coopers Pale on tap
2. It heaves - i can't be be bothered to get in early so have to sit in the front bar which is not as good (although you can still get in with the singing)
3. No Coopers Sparkling on tap
4. The bar is top bright (the front one)
5. No Little Creatures Pale Ale on tap

I'll be there on Sat.
COYS

EDIT - this is in Sydney BTW

trust me, have a man on the inside & it will be announced on Thursday

Fox Sports is introducing Viewers Choice to the Barclays Premier League. You will now be able to watch just about every match of the round.

Here's how it will work...

This Saturday the early game at 9:45pm EST on Fox Sports 2 is Sunderland v Spurs.

At midnight the game we have chosen is West Ham v Man City however if you don't want to watch that game, press the red button on your Foxtel remote and you will be launced into Viewers Choice. On your screen will appear four other matches, in this case Bolton v Newcastle, Derby v Portsmouth, Everton v Wigan and Middlesbrough v Blackburn. Navigate around the screen using your remote and chose which game you want to watch.

Last year we showed up to 6 matches live per week, this year it will be 9 or 10. The only game we're not showing this weekend is arse*** v Fulham because of the time it's on.

The first occasion when this will affect Spurs fans is Saturday September 1 when the Newcastle v Wigan match was scheduled to be broadcast and now if you hit your red button you can watch Fulham v Spurs.

It's illegal to show all 38 matches of a club's season but you'll probably see 35 or 36 Spurs matches this coming campaign. There's 380 matches played in a season and you'll now get between 350-360 of them live on Fox Sports.

If you're getting your Fox Sports through Austar (people who live in the bush) then this feature won't be available until next month. I'm not exactly sure how this works in the pubs but you've got a few weeks to sort that out.

Oh and of course it doesn't cost an extra cent.

Enjoy your football on Fox this season.

Eek I genuiniely think that we get the best football coverage in the world in Australia.
