I started this blog for people coming into Richmond Virginia. The only purpose is for people in Richmond or Virginia to meet up for matches etc. I only know one other Spurs fan in the city so basically want to see if there are any others. Let me know if I am infringing on anything with pictures or links.

Thanks,
pageVee

Also, this is the link for the Unofficial Boston Spurs site:

I am in Sarasota, FL. Will be watching the match Saturday morning with a dozen Spurs fans at a local pub. Great to see that 5 of 6 first matches are being televised here.

Good stuff guys. Hey Deadwood, is it possible for you to add links to SC and to www.spursinhongkong.com to your site for me? Would be much appreciated. I'll ask for your link to be added to the SiHK site too.

In KY pubs aren't allowed to serve booze before noon, meaning watching the game at the pub at 7:45am will be a waste of time when I could have a Champagne breakfast in bed to toast in the new season.

Are other states able to serve alcohol so early?

You've been added to the Richmond Spurs site. Let me know if there are any others to add.

Anyone know a good place to watch the match in Capital Hill? Going up to DC this weekend and don't want to miss it.

What's his name? I was treated like gold by a couple of Spurs fans my first time to WHL, and I would love to repay their kindness.

Rob, he'll be coming all the way from Watertown. Lucky bastard. I'm still trying to find a place that will show the match. Found a place called Summers is showing the game from a few people connected to the Chicago Supporters Club. It is in Arlington however and I would rather stay in the city near a friend. If not I may have to take the metro out to Arlington.

GDG-

This is the link for the Group listing:

This is the link for the Blog- rather rough at this point. I put the Goat option in the poll for Defsta's enjoyment.

Thanks for the info, Panther, maybe they've changed email addresses. The same thing happened on ozspurs with their Melbourne emails, which were bouncing, maybe someone on here can help you to contact the admin at CAATS and get stuff updated.

pagevee, I'll pass those links to the admin on SiHK for him to add.

Thanks. I ended up watching the majority of the match at Fado's Irish pub at the edge of Chinatown in DC. It was a nice pub with a large projection screen and a good "Irish" coffee. It is on 7th and H Streets SE for anyone that ends up in DC this season when a match is on. Thats about all I have for now. Glad I missed the extra time fiasco.

Hey everyone,

I'm an infrequent poster on Spurs Community unfortunately and have just noticed this thread!!!

Myself and two friends of mine run the L.A. Spurs Supporters Club, in fact I am the bloke CDG is talking about in the first post of this thread (it was a FANTASTIC night in Hong Kong, I loved that city):-

I'm in there somewhere!

If anyone is ever in L.A. and fancy watching a game we'd love to see you.

Only just noticed this section of the forum G-dog. Here in Philly there isn't a formal Spurs supporters club, but I know there are usually a few Spurs fans at both the Dark Horse and Fado in the mornings. I get along as often as I can, usually to the Dark Horse these days, but I sometimes can't because of work.

If anyone's visiting the area and wants to meet up to watch a match I'd love to hear from you.

Bellingham WA here about 80 minutes north of Seattle, original from SAF London!

Anyone know if Comcast will be picking up Sentanta? I know you can get it on satellite but I really can't be hassled with changing, I heard a rumor that they were in talks?

By the sounds of it they won't be.

That means I have to get a dish when I go over as Setanta are the only ones with the rights to the rugby.
