Any ideas of what channels will be showing Le'Arse and Spurs Carling cup match on Tuesday at 3 pm EST. I have checked FSC and Setanta and can't find the match on either listing. Starting to panic Eek

I just realised that I'm on holiday touring California/Nevada when the Carling Cup Final is played - I think we'll either be in Vegas (good chance of sports bar!) or Death Valley (errrrrrr..... bad planning?). What are my chances of getting to see the game on tv? Will any sports bars be open showing the game at breakfast time? - seriously thinking of changing itinarary if that's what it takes. Would appreciate info from any Stateside Yids, and will of course consult the oracle that is Geez.

Almost certainly will be Pay-per-view on Setanta which is good because they sell to "commercial establishments." Just need to find a bar that has it on.

Yep, my guess would have been Setanta Premium too

However at 10:00AM EST (3:00PM GMT) on Sun 24 Feb they're showing LIVE Scottish Premier League

And the Setanta Sports Xtra Schedule only goes up to 23rd Feb

I've done a bit of research on the Net and it looks like sports bars showing footy are fairly rare in Las Vegas

However, I reckon it will be on at this place which looks from the outside like it has just been teleported from the Costa Blanca

Crown and Anchor Pub
1350 E Tropicana Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89119

They've shown both semis for $10 and they're charging $20 for Man U v Spurs but you may end up watching Rangers vs. Gretna, so check their schedule first

I was surprised at the number of bars in Death Valley

If you do expect to be there, let me know and I'll try to find one showing the game but I think it's unlikely

Worst comes to worst you can always catch it online if you can get to a computer at least, you can get a monthly subcription to Setanta broadband for $15. Also very useful for watching games at work if you are in the US!

If you take a laptop and get plugged into an internet connection and download Sopcast, you will defo see the game without looking around for a bar.

But I like the bar

Also, I found the live media thread, it said Setanta NA. Setanta didn't say they were showing it. Panic post happened. Got stuck at work and didn't see the match. Enjoyed to Gamecast, giving shit to my Arsenal co-worker, and the links on here to the highlight reels. My arsenal co-worker walked out in the middle of the highlight reel

All sorted - changed itinerary to be in Vegas, changed wedding day, with agreement from my, er, fiancee. She was at WHL Ar5ena1, so she's happy to see the game, then get wed. No guests so no big deal to change. Still working on Spurs shirts down the aisle aspect - will deffo post pics if that happens! Hope to go to the English pub you gave link to, Geez, have emailed for confirmation they are showing game.

I did ask her how much she thought it would cost for me to fly back for the game and then back to California.

Her answer?

"A marriage" Nuff said, eh?
Geez, you have a PM.

Are there any Spurs fans in Austin, Texas? I know one other guy; we go down to Fado's Irish Pub to watch the matches and always get stick from the ManU and Arse fans. Reinforcements needed.

Hey guys,

I was living in Austin Texas for a long time....only a few Spurs fans I came across (was usually the glory hunter Man U/Arse/Scouse/Chelsea fans.

Back in London right now until 2009, but then it looks like we will be moving close to Tampa Florida. St Petersburg to be exact.

Any Spurs fans out that way??

COYS!

Hey Ollie there are quite a few fans in that area. I am in Sarasota, about an hour south. I go to a local pub to see the matches, there are at least 5-6 Spurs fans there. Many times we have 10-20 show up for various matches. We will find many pubs in the Tampa/St.Pete area.

Looks like the match will be on Setanta Broadband. Great way to start a Sunday morning, Spurs & a sausage and egg roll.

In case no one posts a reply taidgh, use the Setanta Venue Finder

I found the Cock N Bull Pub in Santa Monica on the internet so I've got no idea if it's any good or if they're showing it (it doesn't have a web site)

Here's a list of bars and pubs in Santa Monica who have Setanta
