Anyone from Columbus, Ohioish? Looking for people to go to the pub with to watch the Final.
I just realised that I'm on holiday touring California/Nevada when the Carling Cup Final is played - I think we'll either be in Vegas (good chance of sports bar!) or Death Valley (errrrrrr..... bad planning?). What are my chances of getting to see the game on tv? Will any sports bars be open showing the game at breakfast time? - seriously thinking of changing itinarary if that's what it takes. Would appreciate info from any Stateside Yids, and will of course consult the oracle that is Geez.

Are there any fellow LA yids here? i'm thinking the fox and hound is the place where most los angeles based tottenham fans will watch the game.
Hi,
I'm having to go to San Mateo on business during April and will be there for the home game against Bolton.(Could be a blessing ,after that insult of a performance against the B'codes). I'll be close to San Francisco that weekend and was wondering if there is a Spurs supporters bar where I can watch the game with fellow sufferers.
Cheers

Can someone please change the name of this thread, because America is actually a continent, not only a country or the United States and Canada. Very upsetting.
No it's not. South America is a continent. North America is a continent. But America is not a continent. See we call be pissy and PC.
It's common vernacular to call the US America in English. Deal with it.
the name of the thread is erratic because it says Spurs in America and that could be any part of either North, Central or South America. Could a forum administrator please change its name for both a practical reason as well as for being accurate with geopolitical facts. Spurs in the United States should do it and everyone happy. Thanks very much.
To consider North and South America as continents is something which only happens in Anglo countries. For Latin American countries (which are over 90% of the American countries) America is one big piece of a continent and we celebrate its discovery on the 12th of October, the day of the Discovery of America, not only North, Central or South America. Check both the Spanish and English wikipedia versions for "America" and you'll see.
