The word "Entourage" makes me immediately dislike him. I mean, I hate agents but understand that there is a purpose to them in theory, but entourage?

What, are we trying to get a deal done for his hair-dresser/manicurist and personal chef? Grow up, mate.

I imagine he hangs out with Vinny Chase cruising around LA picking up smoking chicks on the weekend

If he's got an entourage, forget it. Can't have his 3rd cousin twice removed deciding he doesn't like North London or fish and chips. Don't particularly want Milik anyway so a bit of a moot point.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

A player’s camp, entourage, representatives: it’s just the media rotating a set list of adjectives to describe the same thing.

This has been done to death.

'Entourage' is regularly used by the media for all kinds of 'high profile' people to describe the advisors and people around them. It literally just means a group of people that surround/associate with a person.

You make it sound like he coined the term and wrote the headline himself.

Erm... Where?

I simply expressed my dislike of "Entourage" - if he has one then he's almost certainly a wanker, but I'm not aware of any journalistic aspirations the guy might have.

People you employ are your business and nothing to do with anyone else, but they are employees. The definition of Entourage is "a group of people attending or surrounding an important person" so, if you're the one telling people that these folk you employ are your "entourage" then that says a lot about someone's opinion of themselves. If a journo has referred to them as such then the journo is a bellend, but it doesn't change the fact that as soon as someone refers to their mates or employees as their "entourage", I immediately want them to be hit by a bus.

That's all. I don't think that's unreasonable at all.

All the journos are bell-ends with this - they say every footballer has an 'entourage'. The point is, Milik hasn't said he has an entourage - they journalist did. The only mention of it is in the headline and leading words. It's almost done intentionally to click-bait people.
Whoever runs 'spurs web' does it with every player we have, e.g.

- Kane https://www.spurs-web.com/spurs-new...onvinced-player-can-leave-club-for-lower-fee/
- Dier https://www.spurs-web.com/spurs-new...-dier-is-demanding-in-his-new-spurs-contract/

It was a big topic of conversation in the Ndombele thread, where it was postulated that using 'entourage' is a racist term with lots of people (for some odd reason) jumping on that bandwagon, and it's come up a few times before.

We are in talks with so many people Boris won’t find anyone left to negotiate trade deals. Maybe he should just hire DL ... now that would sort out the EU

I rarely come in the transfer rumours, what will be will be, but that word jumped out at me and it just made me pull a face like when you see someone scratch their butt a bit deep in public, then try to have a crafty sniff of their finger - yeah, that face you made reading that, that's what the word entourage did for me in that moment.

Couldn't let it pass.
