Just when you were getting comfortable with the idea of raiding Swansea this summer, the Times have raised expectations with an absolute corker of a transfer rumour.

Bayern have Muller, Robben, Ribery, Thiago(who will almost certainly start), Gotze and Shaqiri for 3 places.

They just said they want to play Alaba in CM so then for CM they have:
Lahm, Martinez, Schweinsteiger, Alaba, Rode and Thiago.

Could do with some strength in depth tbf though.

I think a battle between us and Bayern would turn out a little like this:

There we go. Some people wanted Spurs to be linked to good players, because that's what matters, and now we are. Hurray.

'Arsenal signing Sanchez and we're linked with John O'Shea.. says it all. Levy out'. A genuine post I've seen (not on here though).

Sanchez is not going to settle in this country. It's too cold, the food is horrible, and hardly anyone at the club speaks Spanish. He's going to hate it, trust me, he'll be falling over himself to get the hell out of there in no time, just like Arshavin, Reyes and Baptiste before him.
