Here we go: inappropriately blaming the manager or individual players for what essentially is bad management by Levy.

The booing at half-time was a disgraceful. We're playing Barcelona not Cliftonville. Anybody wants to watch something else here are two great YouTube feeds ?

totally agree that if the first two games of CL this season has demonstrably shown us just what we are lacking in midfield, I don't know what will.

I know we don't usually make moves in January (moura notwithstanding), but this midfield situation is a crisis, and could be the difference between us finishing seventh or fourth this year in the league. We are in desperate need of two midfielders that can pick a pass, defend well, score a goal, has a bit of quickness about that, and doesn't look shattered after 30 minutes.
No chance mate of seeing one player in let alone two the team looks nowhere near prepared or ready for this season quite a shame seeing how far the club has come recently.

We need someone like Carrick. I’d hoped that would be winks but he’s a long way off at the moment. Can’t think of a single player is world football now that does what Gazza did
him and big vic just comeback from injury we are playing a top level side with players missing

Poch's problem is that he has very little options to change the flow of this game - if he looks to stem the tide in the middle of the park then it means taking off one of Son, Lamela or Moura for Dier, Skipp or Sissoko and none of which is going to make a marked difference in clawing back 2 goals here.

.....and yes, I gather that the boo's are for the ref now.....
I'd love us to go to a 343. I think we'd have a lot of success but there's no hope of it happening.

Shows how important Eriksen is to us. We can’t even control games against Huddersfield without him let alone Barcelona

Gonna get some stick for this, but I really feel that Lucas is a big part of the reason we have looked like a team of complete strangers for most of this season.

He hasn't connected with Trippier like i'd hoped on that flank but he tends to look less out of place in the middle. Maybe slide him into the gap behind Kane and keep Son out wide. Trips looks like he wants to get forward but can't because every time he has it's ended up with the ball back in his corner.
