Think we are going to see a lot of this squad in PL, at least until Vertonghen and Clinton return from injury or Bentaleb is back in favour or Poch wants to give a youngster or two some experience.

Lloris
Walker, Alderweireld, Wimmer, Rose;
Dier, Dembele,
Lamela, Alli, Eriksen
Kane.

Subs: Vorm, Davies, Trippier, Carroll, Mason, Chadli, Son,

Obviously we beat Bournemouth reasonably easily away at their place in the autumn, but since then their form has been exceptionally good. So much so that if the season had started on 1 December they would be in 3rd position, not far behind us.

A remarkable achievement from Eddie Howe and Bournemouth. Third in the Premier League since December 1 #MNF pic.twitter.com/iPtwuH7nDy

We also know that they are the only PL side who have run more than us this season.

So overall not a side to take for granted - and I hope Poch has told the players that too !

Bournemouth are also the only team to be likely to field two former Spurs Academy graduates as fullbacks in Smith and Daniels

Having said that, we should win maybe 3-1, and for us its a must win game to keep the pressure on Leicester who will have played Crystal Palace on Saturday, and perhaps put more distance below us with Arsenal away at Everton and the two Mancs meeting.

Well post the Dortmund match, probably keep the first team (hoping that Eriksen and Dembele were rested rather than injured), but looks like Davies won't be on the subs bench.

Does Poch bring in Bentalenb from the cold - CM but can play LB if required.

Otherwise bring in Onomah,,,,,but I'd be thinking of him replacing Chadli to give him a rest after Dortmund.

Good news is Harry got a full weeks rest !

Let's hope we see the benefits for a Harry. A week's rest for all our players will be such a blessing for the run in. My major concern for Bournemouth is Dier - I hope he recovers well for Sunday... He is such a pivotal player for us and this game will be a real challenge: the cherries will make us work a lot harder than villa did!

Adjusted for Rose playing tonight and Dier possibly being out and son likely being knackered after pressing his nuts off.

Last game before international break isn't it? Full strength and then take Kane and Alli off just before the end with an "injury" that keeps them out of the internationals.

Or watch our rivals pull their players and woy. Play our boys for 180mins, the cnt.

Hope the moaners are happy.

I'm biting on this hook. Its comments like this that devalue proper debate on the board.

Anyone who though Dier should have been rested has a good point, not deserving of a childish tag like moaner.

And dare i say they would have been just as disappointed or even annoyed as you or any other superior being if he has indeed picked up a problem last night in what was effectively a dead rubber. not happy .

Grow up.

Lloris
Walker Alderweireld Wimmer Rose
Dier Dembele
Lamela Alli Eriksen
Kane

Vorm Trippier Davies Mason Carroll Chadli Son

If Dier is injured, Mason in with Bentaleb onto the bench. If Davies is injured, Carter-Vickers onto the bench.

Picks itself, surely. Tried and tested. If we're comfortable on 60 mins or Alli's chasing cards, stick on Onomah and Son for a good run-out. If Dier's chasing cards, bring on Bentaleb.

Strongest available 11 once a week for the rest of the season. Vertonghen back for Wimmer and N'Jie as an impact sub.

I'd possibly go

Lloris
Walker Alder Wimmer Rose
Dembele Eriksen
Lamela Alli Son
Kane

I'd rest Eriksen if dier is fit though, Eriksen could really do with a big full week off not just midweek

If and when Jan gets back and fully fit you can take the risk of resting Dyer and play Toby in the DM position where he played at Southampton.
But until then play the 11 who beat Villa as long as they are fit as they will only be playing once a week from Thursday on.
It would also be nice if a few of them got small niggles and miss the international week.

Toby in DM would leave two left footers at the back in Wimmer and Jan though. Not the best combination?
