Mixed emotions. Love the win and thought sissoko was excellent til the end, especially the last 5 mins.

However, that will be the way we play now cos it won yet we were at home. We were fortunate with the Son goal. My question is would that have worked against Sheffield United? Arsenal are shit and they dominated the ball.

Sheffield spanked Chelski. Shame you just couldn't enjoy the win.

I've supported Spurs for nearly 40 years, I love my team.
I would, however, happily forego our "footballing tradition", not watch the team for a season, and let Mourinho win 38 PL games 1-0, playing the most banal football the world has ever been misfortunate to see, if it meant winning the PL once in my lifetime.

Dani Cabellos looked like a solid midfielder yesterday... Shame, in our 442 system, he would have excelled as a midfielder
I wouldn't be able to watch him week in week out without getting sick he keeps taking his retainer out every few seconds its disgusting

Notice the fucking around at the back jas disappeared? Lloris cleared his lines everytime today. He's booting it up the pitch almost every time.

I prefer "whack from the back" rather than "play from the back" any day. As long as you can get a head on it then Son/Moura/SB can peg after it. Less risk than the titting about that our defenders are prone for.

Apologies if been said but it looked like they were instructed to shoot from distance yesterday (ala Davies blistering shot that smacked the bar). Lo Celso and others also shot from outside the box. I guess it was a tactic to a) get some shot stats after the sh*t show against Bournemouth and b) They had there #1 keeper out and to test him.

A very interesting post. Thought provoking.

I’m sure quite a few of us love this club because of us being something of a “Cup” team. Good flowing attacking football, the memories of games usually the brilliant assist, the neat finish - the manifestation of the team being the Berbatov and not the Drogba. We don’t typically churn out wins but go on a random cup run and emotionally win an occasional tournament.

We now have one of the best stadiums and training centers in the world. Jose’s prime objective is to get points. And he’s doing a good job. However there are still people who are not pleased with his approach as it’s more about churning out the points, keeping the team solid and then attacking, rather than being stylish and potentially losing.

I think Levy has decided that all the ingredients are there - the players, staff and facilities. It’s now probably time for the most successful manager in global club history to be given the funds to take us to the next level. And to be fair to Levy, he gave enough time to Poch to recover but we were really bad for nearly an year. I believe that Jose should be given funds and time and think he can really make us grow as a team and club.

Whenever I see that I realise how far football has come with the changing rooms nothing like East Marsh on a Sunday Morning over Hackney Marshes where there was literally a cattle trough for a shower

Metalhead

But that's a debate for another thread.....

DT is 41 fucking years old. Sitting there in his personal range of "BEHAVE" baseball caps dressing like the whitest roadman of all time, screaming and crying on the internet about a football team.

41 years old.

Can’t help watching this again and again.
