The long and the short of it is we don't have fullbacks worth a fuck, a midfield bereft of quality and a bench not fit for purpose - throw in the fact we're missing Hugo and have nothing behind him worth a shit - this squad needs replacing.

Throw in the lack of tactics and quality the whole of this year, it's a perfect storm.

Wow overeaction or what. We've been getting the points recently. A lot of points, to the point where if we won today we would have gone 4th. Not a good performance but we need to contextualise this with some pretty good football recently.


Wolves was a very good performance away from home. People just expect us to roll over teams, which is a real issue because this isn't how this league works at all.

First half we where fucking terrible. Sissoko, Dier, Alli, Moura all ridiculously poor and couldn't control or pass a ball.

We need N'Dombele to start. What he done in that time as a sub was far more productive than anything Sissoko or Dier produced.

VAR is a fucking joke. If something takes 3/4 minutes to make a decision how is it clear and obvious? Son was petulant and Gazzaniga had a moment of madness, but VAR was an opinion of someone sitting miles away making there own opinion based on slow motion shots. I would rather the referee went to view the TV at the side of the pitch and made the decision as they are the referee of the fucking game and it's their decision, not some prick sitting a hundred miles away in his jammies.

I'm annoyed at the result but nit surprised. The balance of our team has been off for some time and that won't get fixed until potentially after the summer window. What we know already:

We need good strong full backs. We don't have this.
We need a balance to out CM, we don't have this.
We need to understand what our formation is and how it fits our players. Ndombele is such a talent but how does he fit in a team with Dele who is a luxury and devastating when on it, but woeful when not.

Lot's of things that Jose knows and has to fix. But for a derby the lack of fight was too evident and annoying.

We can complain about individual players all day but fact of the matter is JM got this wrong tactically. Persisting with Dier and Sissoko in midfield meant we had no semblance of control in midfield. We were always going to be outplayed in the center of the pitch. Playing hoof ball is only going to work for so long, until we get found out.

This has been coming for a while. It just needed a good technical team to teach us a lesson. It is time for JM to integrate TN and Lo Celso.

100% this is not knee-jerk. There are MASSIVE changes that must be had. It's embarrassing. We were run ragged by players who put in a simple thing called EFFORT.

We're SLOW, LABOURED, HAVE NO ENERGY, NO PACE, NO ALERTNESS. It is absolutely killer to watch and the worst thing about it is that Mourinho being him, will not change anything. Mourinho is known for 'boring' football. We were fucking boring before he came so fucking god knows whats going to happen now.

Chelsea deserved all of that and more, they're better than us and players like Mount and Willian showing exactly how its done. Direct, quick, fast, whatever you want to call it, they know what they have to do where as we DONT. No cohesion, not a care in the world.

Dele back to his old self, Lucas was awful, Kane anonymous. Not one player I will defend tonight. All terrible. Worst performance today and the worst thing about it all is that we've been saying that for how long now? Players need to change, players need to go, we need 5,6,7 new players who will come in and completely revamp the team ethic.

Absolutely gutted after that. I am not convinced in the slightest we deserve anything this season, 'performing' like that.
