I’m sure we’ll all be shit at our jobs after 3 months of sitting on the sofa. We didn’t lose the game and should’ve won bar a soft penalty.

Sure there’s loads of improvements to make but at least football is back

Good first half but not great 2nd half. Just let them come at us. I didn't think it was a pen but we didn't look solid enough at the back or threatening enough on the counter.

nice to see after all that time away not one single thing has changed. we still can't see out games and the prem officials are still as dodgy as a 9 bob note.

Patience dear boy. It's one game in after months of no playing and before that we had a hangover from Poch, which was pretty plain to see. I'm not going to start moaning at this stage.
Really love your optimism. But almost a full strength team to choose from and two, three weeks of like a pre-season but some guys are still lacking in movement and spirit..

Frustrating when you're leading the game for so long. But the second half wasn't good enough.

Decent result, happy with a point.

People are forgetting pre lockdown:

Utd in the form of their lives
Spurs in their worst form for years and the squad was injury ravaged.

Now, we’ve got players back but some of them haven’t played for 6 months and/or have had serious injuries (Kane, Sissoko, Bergwijn, Son). Plus we were missing Tanganga, Alli and Moura, 3 players whom would of featured in some capacity.

Other than Southampton no one has got out of 1st gear so far.

W Ham will be the test to see if we’ve improved and how far we can go this season.

Couldn't see them scoring. Think we gifted them a point For all their possession how many clear cut chances did they have.

Soft penalty, but poor from us really.
cant say we deserved anything more than a draw and I’m concerned at our lack of control. Counter is one thing, but we seem to eager to surrender the ball and be out pressed.

I just don’t understand why.

Not signing strikers because they won't displace kane is a load of tosh by the way. That argument is a load of pony.

He has toffee ankles and looks like the zest is gone.

Honestly, I get why that penalty wasn't overturned. But it was nothing, most of the time those ones aren't given. Again, if no penalty was given it wouldn't have been overturned. We've had plenty not given for the same kind of crap. Dier doesn't even pull him down. Soft.

A very mourinho performance, lots of positives for sure, even though 5th might be beyond us. If we could defend like that every game we wouldn't be in this situation. It feels like a loss though, another day, same game we would have had this,

Worst thing about tonight was the confirmation that, if we didn't know already, United are miles better than us. No way are we finishing above them this season.
