even if you change the manager we would have to rebuild to his system would take years and at the end we probably loose our best players and end up in a worse position

So what are your facts behind your claim that "he wasn’t backed to buy a player for 2 years"?

His a manager who clearly want to win and succeed. If he had the money to
He spoke to him. Did I miss the part w
choose to believe what you like, but there is more than enough ITKfrom various sources that say he was both indecisive and unrealistic over his transfer targets which means we missed out on genuine realistic ones that would have made a difference.. The stubborness and inflexibility in his team selections only goes to reinforce my belief that their is at least some truth in these rumours.
i loved they guy, fun Poch was the best manager I can remember at spurs in my time supporting the club, but he’s been replaced by a cross between AVB and Mouribho at his worst, grumpy, tetchy and stubborn.
the CL final papered over some massive cracks and to absolve Poch of any blame for the current situation is very naive

there is that a better reply for you?

Poch identifies the players he wants. The club then have a choice to the buy them. I find it hard to believe he didn’t want to buy a single player. The fact is we spent all our money on a stadium. Our 3 best players want to leave as we don’t pay the wages. We was on the decline last year because of a lack of investment. Yes, the final masked our short comings. Even bottom half clubs are spending huge sums while we haven’t been able to invest. Im not blaming the club either. You lot are just beyond delusional and think we should be top 4 every year. We’ve spent this year and got 3 players that I think I’ll be decent. We have a good manager and good chairman to thank.

We certainly do not have the 3rd best squad our back 5 alone is barely top half.
How is it Pochettino’s fault that Kane looked like he was running through treacle yesterday? My only criticism towards Pochettino would be that he didn’t sub him off

Problem is that far too many players have looked like they are running through treacle over the last 10 months. The end of last season can be explained by having so many players in the WC, but it's continued into this season as well, which to me points at another coaching failure on Pochs part.

Perhaps Pochs fabled double training sessions are leaving the players with nothing in the tank come matchday?

I feel the team is being completely hamstrung by the continued selection of Sissoko in CM. I know it isn’t perfect but a midfield of Winks and NDombele desperately needs a go, I would even settle for Dier at this point and he has been terrible recently.

Sissoko just isn’t good enough on the ball to play there, and it massively hampers our ability to play out from the back and through the lines.

Don’t get me wrong, Sissoko has done a job and has improved but I would not be surprised if his run in CM has coincided with our poor form; I am not sure why Poch keeps persevering with him as the “undroppable” CM and rotating the others.

I am not attacking Sissoko, I have been impressed by his improvement, but he is just not good enough with the ball to be starting anywhere near CM.

Our ability to “pass out” dramatically improved with Winks as the main option instead of Sissoko and I feel he needs to give the Winks - NDombele duo more game time.

This appears for me to be a key issue that desperately needs addressing and I can’t fathom why Poch persists with him as part of our midfield.
I have read some rubbish on this site, but this one takes the biscuit. Blaming Sissoko for our poor form and Poch's mismanagement of the games and players is just crap.

Can I ask on what basis? Can you point me to any evidence that he is turning this around? And when will you decide you want him replaced?
We've started the new players and the younger players, younger not necessarily young, just look at the starting lineup yesterday and I suspect Sessignon will be included after the international break that is a change and unquestionably not the same old same old.
What that says to me is that we are doing something to address our problems, in other words Pochettino is doing something to address our problems and I think he will succeed. I don't think we are going to turn this around soon enough to get back to the top four, I hope I'm wrong but I'm not that romantic and it's unrealistic to expect that. I do have the belief that he will turn it round though.
I also expect us to do some business in the January window which will add to the plan, all a year or two late but at least we realise that now. All in all I am not convinced bringing in a new manager now will make enough difference so there's no point doing so at the moment.
In saying this I'll admit I am free of any expectation for this season I have pretty much written it off in terms of achieving anything so I understand it is probably more difficult for anyone still holding onto any vestige of hope.

Didn't play 5 at the back to start with, it was a back 4. We went to 3 at the back after we scored to try & hold on to the lead, unfortunately it didn't help & their FB's were far better at getting forward & getting crosses in than ours.

Exactly he changed shape and we conceded

I was not blaming Sissoko, I was simply making an observation about his suitability in the role of CM and the effect it has on how the side plays; it was more a point about team selection and how the team is being asked to play with the personnel being picked; but thanks, I am glad you don’t see it as an issue.

So now we’re 14th in the table and just 6 points from the relegation zone.
Hardly surprising when you consider we didn't have a shot on target first half certainly from what I remember and that is not the first time this season, we have also lost more points from winning position than anyone else so clearly in game management is not up to it very poor stats from a so called top four side.
