What 7-2 Bayern Munich
Sixty minutes’ worth of one of the most clinical finishing performances in the history of football aside, we’ve largely looked like ourselves in the CL whereas we’ve been completely turgid in league play. Red Star away is every bit as tricky a match as the likes of Newcastle, Brighton, Watford etc. but we’ve been completely dogshit in those matches. I don’t really understand it other than that the players’ mentality is shocking outside of the glamour matches.

Much better than in recent weeks. Not there yet at all, but at least we are beginning to look like we could make it click. Early days for the turnaround and playing a new starting 11. Only thing I am not sure about is the Ndom-Sissoko combo.... Think it's unbalanced.

Is puzzling with the slow intensity we play, our players are still quite prone to muscular injuries.

Our two best CD are Verts and Aldo at their best probably the best combo in the league but we don't play them because the manager has the arse ache about them. I give up.
Or both haven't been great this season, and both are leaving soon. So we should be looking towards our future pairing.

FFS another injury - I swear he didnt miss a match last season!
Something not right why we get so many injuries...
Least we have the break and hopefully it is a real "minor" injury and he is back when we return in 2 weeks, least he can be pulled from the pointless internationals

They certainly haven't been close to the best in the league for at least a year now.

Sometimes your eyes cannot bear what you are seeing in front of you - like this is so so so dull and turgid. It is stinking the place up

This co-commentator on NBC (Tony Gayle?) doesn't have a clue what he's talking about.

We're so narrow going forward. I'd like to see us playing 433 with Son and Moura getting through balls early to run onto.

Dier has always looked more comfortable on the right side whenever i've seen him play there
