I've got the same feeling I had pre Brighton. We'll win handsomely and all the talk of panic will go away. Look how that turned out...

I know they're bound to improve and their position is a false one, but if we don't beat teams like Watford at home (on a regular basis, not counting the Newcastle 'anomaly') then we don't deserve to be top 4.

Ive also got a weird feeling we'll nick something next week. Christ I'm gonna look stupid when we're 4 down by HT

We’re in a very sad state. Players aging and not giving a shit. Poor tactics and a manager whose antics on the touch line look a bit disinterested. Then yesterday, we had a presser. And oh boy. Poch’s presser did nothing to inspire confidence that he will do what is needed. His quotes that have come out since the recorded portion are even weirder. I’ve got no hope here. I’m going for the big hit. Watford to win 3-0 and Deulofeu to score first parlay.

To be fair, and the sad part is, it wouldn't (and shouldn't) surprise anyone if this happened right now.
But I'm still going for a home win!

Positive thoughts lads!! Bit of a break from the club for most of them, reboot hopefully. Sess and lo celso back in the mix. Let’s get this season back on track. Coys.

Oh Christ, can't believe I have to return to my emotional investment in this ludicrous football club. Fucking decades of my life go by with this shit.

Anyway, who's playing RB?

It'll be very interesting to see the team for tomorrow. With 6 games in 22 days I expect Poch to pick his strongest 11 for the CL midweek to keep us in with a chance.
So i reckon a few surprises for tomorrow. I don't see Poch dropping the players likely to leave in January, he's already had his chance to do that and didn't.
Probably Lucas to start instead of Son after his battle with the North and to save him for CL.

Going off the Brighton game, I think if we concede before they do, it’ll be game over.

I simply do not have the faith in our players to apply themselves and get the job done.

If we do win, I think it’ll be scrappy and unconvincing.

We’ve now had an international break for a couple of weeks to allow the manager to get the players focused and working together as a unit again.

If, after tomorrow, it’s glaringly obvious that the manager has failed to do that, I don’t know how anyone will be able to justify him keeping his job.

For me it depends upon how up for it Watford are. Crystal palace were completely supine against us, and Southampton lacked the self belief to see themselves over the line, but they should have won. Where teams are organised, determined, and believe in their game plan, like Brighton, we struggle badly, and we often respond poorly to setbacks. Basically the current team is finished as a significant force.
I reckon we will win easily enough because Watford are useless.
Next week though...I think we're possibly in for the pastings of pastings that will make Bayern look like a creditable result.

An easy win.
Hard to know what to expect anymore. I felt the same against Brighton. Let's hope the international break had the desired effect. Shame that we can'tbring in Sess and GLC.

Must win, especially with two away games coming up against Liverpool and Everton the following week . Given our diabolical away form this year we Lose this and it could be long couple of weeks ahead in league terms
