Team Form ____ Spurs LDWLL _____ Watford -- DLWLD (All Competitions)

Watford have won just one of their 12 Premier League (PL) meetings with us (D3 L8), with that win coming at Vicarage Road in September 2018. Their last three away games against us in all competitions will have taken place in different Stadia - Stadium MK in Sep 2018, Wembley in Jan 2019 and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for this game.

Since beating Arsenal 2-1 in January 2017, Watford have lost 16 consecutive PL away games against "big six" opponents, scoring just 9 goals and conceding 53 in return.

They are winless after 8 PL games this season (D3 L5) - only in 2006/7 (10), 1990-91 (9) and 1984/85 (9) have they had a longer winless start in any of their previous campaigns. They have scored just 4 PL goals this season, based on Opta's expected goals (xG), the quality of chances the have had means the should have scored 11 - giving them the biggest negative difference between goals and xG in the division (7)

We have won each of our last 9 top-flight home games against Watford, including all six in the PL. Our record of 6 wins from six home games is our best such 100% home winning record in the PL. We have lost more games in all competitions in 2019 than any other PL side (17). The last calendar year which they lost more games was 2008 (19).

We have won 6 of our 9 PL home games since moving into the new stadium, (W6 D1 L2), including winning 3 of our last 4 such games this term. We have lost 5 of our last 33 PL meeting with sides starting the day bottom of the table. (W23 D5 L5). All 5 of those defeats have been against teams beginning with "W" (West Ham, Wigan and West Brom x 3 times).

Against no side has Son scored more PL league goals as he has against Watford (5, level with Bournemouth and Crstal Palace). Son is our highest goal scorer in all competitions at our new home (5)

Well win this with goals from son and Kane. 3-1.

Still think we'll get spanked by the Mickey mousers though.

Think we'll win, though it's a worry if they get a goal first, cause we're unlikely to come back from any set back

Think we'll win. Kane & Son.

However the Pool game next week will tell me everything I need to know.

Could go either way. If it was away I'd say we would definitely lose.

We haven't been bad at home against Palace and Southampton (until the sending off). So a good win isn't beyond this team and the right noises have been coming out of the club since Brighton.

I wouldn't be surprised to see us lose though, I really wouldn't. We allow far too many shots at goal nowadays and I don't trust Gazziniga at all.

One would think going up against a Watford team heading for relegation zone will be easy, but I thought Brighton was gonna be easy too. I hope for the positive and that we clinch a victory and leave Elton John crying in the stands

If we can't beat Watford at home this season will be a complete write off.

But we will win. 3-0 Spurs. Kane brace.

I don’t really care how we do it at the moment but we desperately need the 3 pts tomorrow

6 points in our next 2 games (Watford and Red Star in the CL) and anything less is completely unacceptable. 2 piss easy games and ones we should be expecting anything less than 6 points. I don’t care about form, we should be pissing these games. Liverpool away will tell me where this team are at after.

A butterfly will land on the centre circle. This will distract our players from the off. Ericksen will be thinking about it all game. Jan will try and bang it? Lamela will kick it, Sissoko will miss it.

Poch will blame the butterfly.

Score draw. Watford will be up for it, despite their awful form. I just can’t see us getting a win. Sad state of affairs
