We have got to start playing Ndombele..

And this match reminds us we need to have a back up striker to ensure Kane longevity.. we can't burn Kane to the ground every single game..

Lots of positives.

Kane got his goal, looked much sharper and even ran like the wind to try and get a second in the later minutes.

Mourinho deserves credit for sticking with Dier who looks more and more assured at CB. A real leader and finally looking really fit and lean after all his health issues.

And we finally look harder to beat.

Better shape to the side and the performance followed. Still rusty infront of the sticks, but that will come.

We won against a shite team who tried to park the bus.

We are still far too easy to get at, they had a quite a few situations that on another day will prove costly.

Davies is also worth crediting, attacked well and made a few great tackles and interceptions. I still feel Serge was our weakest defensive piece today, but controlled the flank, doing what he does best!

Just so comfortable, like the kind of performance the good old top 4 used to do consistently, that just hasn't been the case in years. Against West Ham as well, who normally make things uncomfortable for us.

Good win, what I expected after watching west ham in Saturday.

Some good performances from Gio, Dier, Serge, and Sissoko. Bergwijn made a bit of a difference off the bench too.

Would have liked to have seen Sessegnon and Ndombele get but it's clear they're not in Jose's plans.

These last two games really are starting to show who we should keep and who can be moved on.

Poor first 30 minutes but after that we were good.

If we insist on having our RB as a pseudo RW and seemingly our primary attacking outlet, we need one who makes better decisions and can find the right ball consistently

We also need attackers that can make better decisions and not be flat footed in and around the box.

People consistently leave out that bit when criticising Aurier and any other full back.

I thought Dier was a colossus at the back today, won absolutely everything in the air and all of his battles with Antonio.

Unless plan is to play with back 3, we don't need Thiago Silva if Dier can keep playing like this.
