Lilywhite Rose has confirmed that Renaldo Torraj and Khalon Haysman have signed scholarship forms.

That takes us to 7.

Davies, Hackett-Valton, Mathurin, Haysman, Cassanova, Torraj and Scarlett.

We're still waiting on news about goalkeeper Adam Hayton, defender Max Hudson and midfielder Mark Chidi.

Any idea who’s out of contract from U23 group if any and who may be cut. You’d guess likes of Georgiou Marsh Eyoma Tracy Sterling may have had their time. Wonder if we may see a much bigger cull due to circumstances.

I would have thought that Aaron Maguire(GK) would be taken on since he is both an England & Eire U16 international. Or has he joined another club? Also if the intake is basically from the U16's it does not say a lot about the clubs ambition. Chelsea, Man City and Man Utd, to name but 3, are always active in bringing exceptional talent from outside the academy. Just hope I am wrong.

I didn't mean Hayton, I meant Maguire. Brainfart. I think Hayton left us.

Ollie Turner (who I completely forgot about) has signed on for next season taking the total to eight. Ollie is an attacking central midfielder or left back.

Next season Years 1's: Davies, Hackett-Valton, Mathurin, Haysman, Cassanova, Turner, Torraj and Scarlett.

Anyone know anything about Aaron Skinner?

Wonderkid? Where do they get this stuff from?

An interesting factor is that all three are bigger than we typically produce

I don't know anything about Davies, though there were a few u16 games I saw where I couldn't identify a couple of players, but Skinner is definitely not big. He is about the same height or just a bit shorter than White.

Other than Watt leaving there are no shocks here. Suspect they'll add Hayton as a 2nd keeper, as we love keepers and I haven't seen any news to suggest he's left yet.

Hudson should be kept on as it will only leave us with Kyezu as a potential LB next season, and from what I remember Hudson was better than him in the academy. I thought Chidi left a while ago but if he hasn't I expect him to leave.

The Article said players currently playing in the Big 5 Leagues (Prem, La Liga, Bundesliga, Seria A & Ligue 1) hence most of the players on your list aren't included.

I don't think we can include Clyne and Oxford, that would be like Arsenal claiming Kane.

I was also only included players that were regularly getting minutes (due to the currently playing criteria), so didn't include Skipp, Tanganga, KWP & Bennetts.

Rose & Berchiche were both 17 when they joined, so I left them off (forgot about Berchiche though).

How long was William Troost-Ekong here?
The article is still completely wrong.

Kane, Winks, Townsend, Bentaleb and Daniels (though maybe not playing regularly), Adam Smith and Ryan Fredericks in the PL alone.

We also have Veljkovic in the Bundesliga, yuri berchiche in Spain and Troost-Ekong in italy and by many definitions Danny Rose would also count as an academy player.

I have no idea where those figures came from, but it's nonsense. If being very harsh you still have 8 people from the academy regularly playing football in the top 5 leagues. we could almost field a team!

Kane
Townsend Winks Skipp Bentaleb Smith
Berechiche Vejkovic Troost-Ekong fredericks
Button

Not including Rose here, because some would argue he was signed for the reserves. But even so, that's far from a bad team, it has a lot of international experience and while lacking much of an attacking spark, could be competitive.
