Hadn't realised Matty Taylor is one of our youth coaches now. Strikes me as another excellent appointment. We seem to have become something of a coaching academy at the moment. If only we could hold onto them for a bit longer!

Be interesting to hear the reports. The stats actually look very even maybe just unlucky ?

sounds like tob had another good game yesterday:
2-0 - Goal by Oakley-Boothe. Great run from deep, good ball over the top from Hinds, then Oakley-Booth puts the defender on his backside with some tidy skill before smashing it into the roof of the net.

3-0 - Oakley-Boothe on one of those aforementioned runs, Curtis Jones can't handle it, gets caught on wrong side of the midfielder and brings him down in the box. Sterling scores the pen.

also just saw this was posted on the mirror's blog from the other day:
Championship side Reading had a deadline day bid rejected for Tottenham teenager Tashan Oakley-Boothe.

The Royals submitted a £1.5million bid to the Premier League club late yesterday, but saw their offer turned down.

He made his Spurs first team debut against Barnsley in a League Cup tie in 2017, aged just 17.

Later that year, he was part of the England side who won the Under-17 World Cup.

Since then, he has impressed for the U23’s but is likely to go on loan to League One or abroad in search of first team football.

not sure a league 1 loan would make much sense given he apparently had a lot of interest from the championship but a decent loan abroad could be worthwhile.
