There is probably nothing in this at all but late on Thursday night i spotted SG entering The Conrad Hotel in Chelsea Harbour. The time was 1am and he pulled up in a chauffeur driven car with a middle aged bloke whom i assumed to be his agent. The question is;- What is SG doing in a Chelsea hotel at that time of night when you would assume that he would have to be at training in Liverpool early the following morning!? Could he have been meeting a certain rich Russian fella to discuss a possible move? This i doubt because surely they wouldn't meet in such a public place...though it's been done before as we all know :-|

As i say probably nothing in it and maybe had a totally innocent reason for being there, but if he does go to Chelsea, you heard it here first! :grin:

There aren't that many places that have much activity going on at 1am in the morning, so why arrange a secret meeting for one of the few places that do? If you are going to the effort of meeting so late, then at least go to the effort of meeting somewhere descreet.

Didn't have the time. I was sitting in my car doing work stuff, heard a bit of a commotion and saw photographers from the gutter press shouting "Steve, Steve!", I looked over and there he was walking past my car into the Hotel entrance....I believe there are pics in some of yesterdays papers. Apparently a few footballers and celebs have apartments in Chelsea Harbour so maybe he was just visiting a friend??...Was just a bit of a shock to see him at that time of night in Chelsea of all places Eek

Or maybe he'd been out on the town and had a room booked to crash for the night before returning to Liverpool first thing? Think this is prob the most likely scenario but who knows.. :think:

Yep, that'll be the reason then. Lampard has a pad in Chelsea harbour i'm told. Maybe they went back for a gay orgy?
