De Telegraaf are usually very reliable. (It’s in the Daily Mail as well)

EINDHOVEN - PSV seems to lose Steven Bergwijn to Tottenham Hotspur. The English top club wants to take over the attacker (22) immediately.

Bergwijn is already missing on Sunday afternoon in the PSV match selection for the home game with FC Twente, several sources around the club report. José Mourinho and Tottenham are looking for an offensive impulse due to the injury of striker Harry Kane and the impending departure of Christian Eriksen to Internazionale.

The nine-time international of the Dutch national team has been followed for years by international top clubs, including Spurs. Seville was concrete last summer, but the Spanish club did not want to meet the PSV asking price. Bergwijn subsequently extended its contract in Eindhoven until August 2023, so that Tottenham will be deep in the bag to hijack Bergwijn from the Netherlands in the meantime.

Heard the name but that's about all I've got on this lad!
Good to have a new name thrown into the ring though.

‘Deep in the bag’ sounds painful

Would be really happy if he came in as he's a great prospect.

As long as we still sign a striker though.

So Piatek and then Bergwijn is the Eriksen replacement? Also, I think we all know this is getting poo-poo'd very quickly.

Anyway I'm sure this link will keep the 'inbreds' happy until the link turns out to be false. The usual end to a Tottenham transfer window.

13 assists this season according to transfermarkt. Could bring more to the team than Lucas. Although our current level of finishing in the side is leaving a lot to be desired!

Remember us being interested in the summer and seemed like a pretty good option.
