Get in!!!! Three more points on the road and great reward from some excellent defending at the end: weathered the storm and came on strong at the end.

Not deserved at all but a fabulous win

Kane was outstanding all game, Eriksen is top class and has to be played as the Number 10 behind Kane

Dembele played a role when he came on

Lamela and Soldado are both lost causes and need to be upgraded

Defensively we were poor and Lloris once again saved us

Walker was a real positive to see back

Finally figured out Poch's tactics - he's gone for the Ali/Foreman rope a dope again

i think i need to get out of this thread to enjoy any spurs game...

we are leading... conditions are bad, slippery and making both pressing and passing / controlling difficult... but despite some obvious chances, we are defending pretty well...

and yet... we have the mood on here, slamming our own players..

see you at final whistle.

sorry... gonna be smug here and say that i was glad i left at half time, and especially after they scored so early.

2-1 to the spurs... COYFS!!!

Yeah well done Spurs!

Even though we've played 18 games in 4 days we still had the stamina to come good when they tired.

Well Done Eriksen, Kane and Davies. (and the others but particularly those 3)

We'll come through this period of loadsa games a much stronger team.

It's going to be really interesting to see what Pochettino does. This team needs goals. We are on pace to score about 45 goals, which would be ten less than our goal shy squad of last season.

I'd assume Bentaleb and Mason will start as a CM2, and Kane/Eriksen will also start. But what about the other two attacking positions? I'm assuming everyone will get their wish for Lennon, but you cannot gloss over how he just isn't any sort of goal threat, so if you play the same team as Everton, you can't really be all that surprised if that team doesn't score over 90 minutes barring an Eriksen strike. Poch might drop Soldado for Chadli, but then you have Kane as a lone striker, which he's shown he's not that great at.

If we win, it'll be down to individual brilliance of Eriksen. Hopefully he strikers from distance and we hold out for a 1-0 win.

I said the above before the match and it just shows what an entirely predictable squad we have. We NEED more players who can strike the ball with both feet from distance. Eriksen is the only one in the ENTIRE squad that can test the keep consistently from outside of 15 yards. Every single attacking player we bring in must have the ability to shoot the ball with accuracy and pace.
