Lloris
Walker-Peters Alderweireld Vertonghen Rose
Sissoko Dier Winks
Eriksen Kane Son
That is what I believe Pochettino will choose on Wednesday.
Instead of you all second guessing Poch, why don't you pick the team that you personally would like to see.

The team I would like to see starting with the game against Leicester in mind, and considering that we can now have 12 on the bench;

Lloris

Aurier ___ Toby _____ Verts ____ Davies

Dier _ __ Ndombele

Lucas ____ Lamela _____ Dele

Kane

I would start Lloris over Gazzaniga and keep Gazzaniga to start the lesser cups.

I would keep Aurier as he is fresh and need a run of games for consistency in this troubled position.

Would start Toby and Verts so they can re-establish themselves rythymatically as the best CB partnership

Dier and Dele now deserve a good run out, and as two big game players should be good against this unfamiliar opposition.

Was a close call between Sissoko and Ndombele but went for the latter as (I cant believe I am writing this) Sissoko has nothing to prove, and a Ndombele master performance is due.

Rest both Rose and Son for this one, saving their respective energies for Leicester.

And keep both in form players Lamela and Kane.

It's odd to think of the Champions League as an opportunity to swap things around and give some much needed minutes to some players, but here we are. This isn't a gimme by any means, and the last thing we need is a solid beating that gives them heart for the group ahead and reasonable hope that a draw in London would be enough to see them through.

I'd like to see
Lloris
Aurier, Sanchez, Vertonghen, Davies
Dier, Ndombele,
Moura, Lamela, Alli
Kane

And hope they've got enough to win or draw. It would also be great if Sessegnon is ready to come off the bench.

According to this, none of Rose, Davies or Aurier were filmed getting on the plane to Greece. Doesn't necessarily mean they aren't there (Dele wasn't in the video, but was later seen in an instagram post), but worrying that we might be low on full-backs again.

Best not to worry yet, as you said dele wasn’t in the video but he’s on the plane

Surely you're not charging her to use your clothes... :sneaky:
Is that the same as "I'm asking for a friend" ?

Agree this might be close to the lineup for tomorrow. That is to say, I wouldn't be surprised if we start with three at the back.

I think we can field 12 subs in the CL.

EDIT: Nevermind. Rule only applies to finals.
