Did he? James had very little impact overall. Rashford on the other hand ripped Aurier apart.

Jan was 2nd best and struggled to keep up with him, I don't see him being fine against Traore at all, having said that I don't see any other option.

Wolves work on overloads down the flanks and like to isolate the full backs which is why we're going to struggle in those areas, unless we change formation which is unlikely, think it's just one of those matches we need to hope our forwards are on it.

Wolves are also weak at the back.

If we're on our attacking game I think we'll outscore them.

Jan will be fine, I'm more worried about Aurier that's for sure.

Rose doesn't fit in with how he wants us to play without the ball, so it will be Verts at LB. To fit Rose in he needs to play Foyth at LB which he seems reluctant to do & I think he prefers Sanchez's pace to Foyth's.

I think he will go for Sissoko & Dier as the 2 & from Weds nights game I think it's a weakness especially against teams like Wolves!

It's just depressing that we have no choice but an out of form dier and Sissoko as a midfield pairing

With Ndombele ouT still I’d have Winks in, but still go for a three man defence, let Wolves play in front of us and hit them on the break.

Skipp Winks

Interestingly, Jose said at today's press conference that Sunday's XI were picked before Wednesday's match against Bayern. I think that means we can rule Winks out because he was still rehabbing. Similarly, I think Foyth and Skipp are out, even though they did well, and Dier is in, even though he fared poorly, because (in Jose's mind) now is not the time for experimentation. We are playing in the next two matches against two of the three teams immediately ahead of us in the table, so he would rather hope the veteran Dier regains enough form than roll the dice with youngsters. (Meaning, I would be curious to see Foyth and Skipp in a double pivot, but now is not the time).

Anyway, here is my predicted XI:

Gazzaniga
Aurier Sanchez Toby Vert
Sissoko Dier
Lucas Dele Son
Kane
