Good to have Dier back at least, although maybe not for Saturday.

Hope we can get Winks, Moussa and Erik back for Ajax first leg.

(and maybe a miraculous Kane recovery too :))

We had a decent break (about 3 weeks) not too long ago so accumulated fatigue shouldn't really be an issue. Whilst last night was draining mentally, it was only 90 minutes. As horrible as it would be to see liverpool win the league we need to amass as many points as possible to guarantee top 4 and playing our strongest team gives us the best chance of that.

Forgot about janssen, I assume he wasn't registered for CL, our bench looked mighty lightweight yesterday

Unfortunately we should expect a backlash fron city and i fully expect them to beat us fair comfortably tbh. I just think we have to pick our battles and accept that despite a monumental achievement we cant compete on a shoe string squad right now. Players need resting for games to come.

Id play kwp, sanchez, foyth, davies, skipp, alli, eriksen, lucas, llorente and anybody else we can rope in.

Training today and team selection will probably go down the route of asking who is fit and who isn’t knackered. Hopefully we can make it to 11 players. That’s who will play.

It would be really great if at least one of Dier, aurier, winks or Lamela were back

I reckon that Parrott will definitely make the bench on Saturday and I wouldn't mind it at all.

Hoping for once Poch is pragmatic and fields an ultra defensive side and go the long counter attack game.

If there's ever a time we are going to get a result at the etihad, its this game.

They are going to be on the floor from last night and will want 'rewengay', but they are going to be a bit desperate for it. Nick an early goal, then soak up the pressure and get a couple more on the counter.

I feel excited about this game, really need the points, don't think Poch will be up for taking a hiding, but rather sticking it to them while they're wounded..!!!

Take the L, pretty sure mathematically we'll get Top 4 if we win our other matches.

On one hand we could rest players and see this game as a free hit.

On the other hand. If we win this game we could get top 4 close to being sewn up before we play Ajax.
