In my XI, I have selected a back3. IMO, thats enough for both Winks & Ndombele. Dier is still rusty & I dont trust Aurier.

You need specialist DM's or defensive minded players especially in a midfield 2 in front of a back 3, Winks or Ndombele are neither, probably why playing with a back 3 is a bad idea and hasn't worked since Wanyama stopped playing and Dembele left.

Fit, willing and untarnished only.
Gazzaniga+
Sissoko, Winks, Skipp,, Dele, Son, Sanchez, Foyth, Dier? Rose?, Ndombele?
HK, Moura,Lamela, KWP, Parrott.
Sessengnon, Lo Celso if recovered.

First eleven changed and ready
play where you like but play.
First subs on the hour at the latest
or half time if necessary.

Watford are winless aren't they? Has an ominous feeling about it this one … :X3:

What does he do though??? I'll admit when I seen the line up for Brighton I said to my son I like that team, Dier will add some much need steel to the midfield and no sooner had I said "I fancy us to win 4-0 here" Hugo was lying in the back of the net along with the ball lol, so fucked if I know. Do we know how far away Sessegnon and Lo Celso are away from making the bench at least? Id have Parrott on there too.

I'd definitely be starting Lucas for this one.

For me this is the biggest game on Poch's career with us, he had to get the selection right.

I think 6 players should not be available for selection for the foreseeable. Toby, Jan, Aurier, Rose, Wanyama and Eriksen no need to go into reasons why.

With what is left I want the following to be the main team for now.

Gazza

Foyth
Dier
Sanchez

Sissoko
Winks
Alli
Ndombele
Sess

Moura
Kane

Whiteman
Tanganga
Davies
KWP
Skipp
Lamela
Son

GLC & Parrott are the obvious two missing.

I have put Dele and Moura In as no international duty so should be fresh and hungry.

Actually like that, but Son is hard to drop.

I'm sorry but I have never seen Kane and Moura excel together...
I could be mistaken but I am sure for a couple of games Moura played right up top and Kane was a bit deeper, even if it was just for half an hour or so after substitutions, but it could have been with Llorente, I can't be sure.

Set up not to concede goals should be our first thought. Doesn’t he normally go three at the back for Watford for some strange reason?

Because they use to play two physical forwards up top?

Not sure if they do now.

Everytime they play together they end up in the same spaces, nullifying both.

Only 3 outfield players over 25.no excuses for not playing a high pressing game

Aurier, rose,Toby, eriksen, wanyama should never be picked under any circumstances again

Foyth is too light weight and takes too many risks at the moment.
