Gazza
Sissoko Sanchez Tanganga Davies
Winks Ndombele
Lamela Kane Son
Moura

Whiteman KWP Dier Skipp Alli Markanday Parrot

Lets try Moura up top and Kane in the 10 role, they have excelled there in the past when we have had those two in those positions for spells of games before. We need Kane to get on the ball more, he has a lot better physical side than Eriksen, he can pick a pass and he can shoot from distance. We have seen Moura used as a pacey striker before he even excelled as a target man on a number of occasions last season. Id also put Markanday on the bench as he is one of the few who have impressed in the admittedly limited younger age group matches i have viewed.

If fit I would play:

Gazza
Aurier Sanchez Verts Rose
Sissoko
Ndombele Locelso
Son Kane Sess

Sissoko, Son and sess have the energy to track back and help out the defenders.

I'd like us to play our future defence with Foyth as cover on the bench and Sissoko given the chance to become our mobile CDM:

Gazza
KWP Sanchez Tanganga Sessegnon
Sissoko
Winks Ndombele
Lucas Kane Lamela
Bench: Whiteman Rose Foyth Dier Skipp Parrott Son

No Eriksen, Toby, Verts, Aurier ideally.

Im half tempted to kill off Toby but his performances have actually been decent bar the last two Whereas Eriksen has been a liability all season. Bye Christian

Time to drop the rebels and want-outs regardless of what's happening with the manager (and I think his time might be up). Go away Jan, Toby, CE, Rose, Wanyama.

Though I'm sure Levy would prefer them in the shop window ahead of January.

Well, it’s just shifting the deckchairs around on the Titanic, isn’t it? Shuffling about players who don’t really want to be there and players who aren’t good enough, experienced enough, or injured/ coming back from injury. One minute Dier is into people’s team, the next out when we all remember how mediocre he’s been. This bad form is likely to drag on until we bring in enough new high quality players to tip the balance back to the positive. A new manager might make a short term difference, but like Solskjaer at United, they will all slip back into their bad ways after a few weeks most likely.
Let’s get four or five out in January and bring in two or three talented new faces to try to lift things a bit. If not, we’re just going to continue like this till the end of the season, finish ninth or tenth, and Poch will go to another job. Eddie Howe or Gareth Southgate would not get a tune out of this squad either.
It might even take us selling Kane to generate enough funds to make a difference, a la Coutinho.
Good to know I’m not the only one who has thought about what it would mean to sell Kane. Obviously it’s not something any of us would really want. But, we are in a really complex situation with so many contracts running down, and not a huge bucket of money to bring in replacements.
So, let’s say we have about $50m available next summer. That wouldn’t buy us more than two good fullbacks. But considering we probably need at least three new defenders, a new CM, and two attacking forwards/midfielders... means our needs are plenty but our resources are minimal. So, do we do something painful to serve a bigger purpose? What if we sold Kane, Dele, Dier, Lamela and Rose? That would likely raise something in the range of 300m. Giving us 350m to spend on six or seven players.
Yes, it’s totally ludicrous to even suggest such a thing, and I’m certainly not suggesting it’s the right thing to do... but all options need to be on the table, when you are considering a massive rebuild.

I’d take another chance on Dele, stick him behind Kane, centrally. Where he should be. Get Son and Lucas out wide to create space.

Winks and Ndombele in CM (at home to Watford anyway) with Foyth at RB. Sanchez over Toby and then Jan and, fuck it, give Rose one last chance.

If it’s not good enough, then :bored:

Im 100% confident Poch will come up with an 11 nodody has seen play before which will include a few players who haven't played for weeks.
This will not surprisingly result in another disjointed cluster fuck of a performance.

Yep I’m for giving Toby a miss and going with Sanchez. Actually think slotting Ndombele into that role is a good shout. Moura really deserves a run simply on the basis of his cameo on Saturday where it looked like he gave a shit.

Irish Nan
Mad Mary- FlatCap Pat- Strimmer Si-Peanut
Dave the Chisel
Aunt Maureen- Spud
Dense Spense -Vern- Thriller Miller
People from my past- the good and the bad, some gone, some not- who would at least make an entertaining starting XI against Watford
Sounds like Guy Richie’s latest film cast...

Moura needs to start. He shows fight and commitment.

He puts more effort in than Eriksen and Alli combined.

For me this is the biggest game on Poch's career with us, he had to get the selection right.

I think 6 players should not be available for selection for the foreseeable. Toby, Jan, Aurier, Rose, Wanyama and Eriksen no need to go into reasons why.

With what is left I want the following to be the main team for now.

Gazza

Foyth
Dier
Sanchez

Sissoko
Winks
Alli
Ndombele
Sess

Moura
Kane

Whiteman
Tanganga
Davies
KWP
Skipp
Lamela
Son

GLC & Parrott are the obvious two missing.

I have put Dele and Moura In as no international duty so should be fresh and hungry.
