Oh blimey, thats not good. Fare enough I have no idea if he'll be any good or not, but neither does Levy. This is Levy saying I spent a fortune this summer Im not doing it next, which is what i'd have to do for a big name.

Bad appointment imho but oh whatever COYS!!!!!

So lets say we finish 7th and miss out on CL.

Van Gal and a shit load of other top managers come available that summer.

Sherwood will get a nice little payout won't he.

What a fucking shambles. I'm just hoping Levy will sack him once he fails to make top four and then we go and get Van Gaal in.

Not surprised but am disappointed. Very naive appointing a coach with no managerial experience. Yesterday was fun but to let's be honest we play like that against a top team we will be ripped to shreds! Can't help but feel that this was the cheap and easy option! I just hope there is some get out clause so if things go horrendously wrong between now & the end of the season we can change things in the summer.

Also must say I'm very surprised that they haven't appointed an experienced number two to work along side him.

So what and your point is, where did I say yeah let's appoint a fucking arsenal supporting novice to the job and give him an 18 month contract?

So my point is, I don't see you've any right to moan and cry now. You wanted AVB gone, you accept the consequences.

rubbish, you can drag this out only if I said and I don't care who gets the job otherwise it's meaningless

You don't really let the fact he used to be a gooner fan influence your judgement though right? I mean, if you've been a season ticket holder for 25 years, one would assume that you're not a child...

There is one positive I can see in this.....

Tim Sherwood gets what he wants.

Think this is the first time I've ever heard of Levy getting Levy'd.

I think this could be good for us. Sherwood is clearly an ambitious man who'll work his arse off to be successful. Great opportunity for him, plenty of managers that have done well without any experience (we just fired one of them).

Wouldn't read too much into the end of next season contract - he'll be gone in the summer if he doesn't look the part (which I really hope is not the case).

We'll win some and lose some over the coming months while he finds his feet but the best we can do is to get behind him and the team - lets sing up on Thursday and make him realise what a fucking hero he could be if he gets it right.

COYS.
