Wigan were bought only out 3 weeks ago.
Looks like new owners which were from China/HK and have no money and purchase was all financed by bank loans
Administrator says club has been well run, has money in the bank, but new owners have decided they don't want to fund club.

I could see Dave Whelan stepping back in.

That Brentford team play some good football.

Benrahma, Watkins one or two others ...

Just shows the due diligence wasn't done at all, which is shameful.
There are literally rumours going round that the previous owner lost the club through gambling.

Regardless of what is true, there is no way due dilligence was followed.

They won again today.
Since restart they've played 5, won 5,
scored 11, conceded 1, four clean sheets.
They are now third two points off automatic promotion to the Premier League and three points off top spot.
Brentford have every chance of playing their first game in their new stadium in the Premier League.
How about that!

Be interesting if they continue to play the same way if they manage to get promoted. I enjoy watching them play.

Yes I’m a massive stats geek but I thought this was quite a creative / interesting way to visualise what’s still possible over the last few games.

Wigan are nine points clear so they need to add four to that (or three depending on GD) to avoid the drop despite the points deduction.

I really hope they do it after the shit they've been put through. Beat Hull tomorrow and they should do it.

Sums up why I prefer to watch the Championship for my non-Spurs football fix. The quality of football isn't as high but as a league, the Championship is more competitive and interesting than the Premier League.

I can still see Leeds bottle it and ending fourth. Brentford is a curious team to watch tbh. Reminds me a bit of Bournemouth back in the days
