Lots of dohs, no explanations why we've had such a good window. We've had an ok one. 2 players in, both squad players. One of smallest spenders in league. It's ok. Just not good in my opinion
That's fair imo. Started well but the GKN fiasco has put a bit of a spanner in the works. As you say though it's not been a bad window, just not anything great

Yep - a fairly long run now of average to poor windows. Can't understand how we have managed to assemble the best squad in a generation.

Sarcasm doesn't quite work in here most of the time....;)

It prevents injuries and can extend your career by years. The gender split is about 40:60 in my class and all the blokes are football or rugby players.

Sunday morning footballers extending their careers through Pilates, LOL love it

Well some would think we need a player to make the difference when teams park the bus. To challenge Ali in no 10 role

And some would say there aren't many players who unlock park the bus defences about and that if they don't want to join Tottenham then we can't sign them, nor should we just buy someone for the sake of it to appease fans.

The window isn't shut yet, now is the time teams who want to get rid of players have to start reducing their price, just the same as we have to do to shift the players we are trying to sell.

You tend to find unlocking a packed defence is about off the ball running and moving the defence about rather than giving the ball to some special talent. The rest of the team create the room for a pass, rather than a special talent producing a magic trick.

Most teams in the PL don't park the bus now anyway, they merely defend in the sam way we defend.

You really don't want me to run a list off do you. To me Eriksen is a sweet 'n sour player.
Yes run me off a list - I'm not very well versed in European players so tell me. This is not meant to be an antagonistic post BTW, I actually can't think of a player we can buy (i.e. will come to us on our wage structure) who would be better than Eriksen. I'm sure there are some, but I can't think of them at the moment

I no longer have access to Spurs ITK as have moved jobs some time ago, but I happened to have met Dmitri Payet on the weekend (work related). We spoke football - nothing of note for us here but he told me why he stayed at West Ham, about their new stadium (which I think is lame but didn't tell him that) and how he really likes the way we played last season - that it inspired the West Ham team to know that passion, fitness and coaching can help achieve good things (i.e. not just spending money).
