I think I read a few weeks ago that Baldini was using his network to find new homes for some of our players - I'd think that this is the more likely activity in Italy...particularly as we seem to have our main targets highlighted and not ruled out yet.

As I said earlier, I understood it to be incoming rather than outgoing, but that means next to nothing. I understand plenty of things incorrectly

Seem to be the only likely positions we'd be targeting. Ljajic would tick a few boxes for instance.

Last summer I was hoping we might try for Luis Muriel but he missed quite a bit of last season with an injury and struggled to recover his form after. All that said he's a player I would still be happy for us to take a gamble on at the right price as I think there's a lot of potential there

In Italy, there is talk of one of either Ljajić or Destro needing to be sold by Roma. Baldini brought us Lamela last season...

I'm sure I recall reports (probably from one of the itk) of us being interested in Ljajić at the same time we signed Lamela.
