I think we need to move a couple or more on now, but Benfica could well hold all the answers tas far as incomings are concerned to the remainder of the transfer window.

Really encouraging to hear Dragon1 once again mention the CM position.

While we may not be short there in terms of numbers, we certainly are in terms of quality.

Even if Ndombele is now turning a corner, we still need at least one more quality option in that area. Winks and Sissoko just aren’t the calibre we should be looking at if we’re to challenge on multiple fronts - and that’s exactly what Jose will want to do

Those questioning why we wouldn't spend £20m on Wilson but £40m on a different target.

There is a difference between cost and value. Value doesn't mean cheap. It's about return on investment in terms of; goals, addressing gaps in the current squad, potential resale upside, marketability, deal maturity.

We as fans also always negate the contract cost when comparing total investment of a signing. Wilson could have demand £100k a week over 4 years (£20.8m), Eduard could be £50k (£10.4). Adding that into any 'value' calculation all of a sudden gives a very different perspective.

What amazes me more is the fact someone has to explain this every transfer window.

The midfielder should be someone who can work hard and win some battles, as well as put in some creativity. Not easy to find I guess.

Jose’s made it very clear he wants a few out. I think we probably need to lose 2-3 other than the players already rumored to be out. Dele is probably going to be one of those 2-3 it looks like.

Well that isn't surprising. Sess should only be allowed to go if it is out on loan to develop.

There would be in midfield if he got his head on straight. Got the vision and legs for it, but it's all flicks and half hearted tackles with him these days.

And boy were they untouchable today ???

Hope we shift Rose, Foyth and CCV fairly quickly, I will be really interested to see who we manage to get in for midfield, assuming we spend any Dele windfall on Ings or Edouard.

I don;t know much about him, but a 21 year old CDM sounds like a great idea - if he has the quality.
