yeah you are correct. Because if the club don't let us know then they can't be doing anything. After all, we are always kept so well informed.

Whatever the outcome finally turns out to be, I personally feel this is totally stupid - leaving it til this late. Obviously the deals could well all be tied up and just waiting to be announced. Somehow I doubt it though. : (

Anyone we sign won't be someone we have just decided to show an interest in today. They be someone we've spoken about, probably directly to, and know whats required to get the deal done. It's just whether we bend our offer to match what selling club want or selling club lowers demands. If neither happens, we get nothing.

We were told yesterday that even deals agreed yesterday wouldn't be announced until today so here's hoping deals are virtually done and we'll hear about them by lunch time.

We're not the only club that leaves deals to the last minute so there's obviously a reason why some deals happen like this, only cash rich clubs tend to get their shopping done mid summer.
