but the key is Illieremendi looking at options too

This is it and this is what a lot of people fail to understand - if you target high level players it's likely that you will face competition from other - some times more - prestigious teams. So players will wait to find out all their options before making a decision, which inevitably delay things.

Wrt the Hertyid info, that is why cryptics that go on for 2 months are dangerous. It was made abundantly clear that one of the cabbages(Evans) was no longer of interest and no longer wanted when Toby was signed.

Whoever bought that info over there about Chicharito and Evans either forgot that key piece of information or just didnt realize how old the info actually was. Probably caused a meltdown over there that hertyid then had to put out:ROFLMAO:

Always nice when jay throw his hat back into the itk ring again with the odd bits of info too. That was a nice treat this morning
Have I missed something? Something potentially important that might impact on my immediate well-being?

Reports in Spain seem to think he could be going back to Real Sociedad, which you'd hope we could top but then again he did have success there.

Read that too and the fee quoted as E15m not Sterling. Quite cheap in that case.

Why do so many people interpret the itk so negatively?

It's either won't get him he'll go elsewhere as they can pay more money or he'll go to a cl club. It seems people apply either of these endlessly in a frustratingly endless cycle of gloom.

We have been in the top 4-5 in one of the biggest leagues in the world for the past five years. We have a squad with plenty of quality, promise and internationals. We pay excellent wages. We are (like it or not) a great springboard to go onto the top level clubs (carrick, berba, bale and mod) we are based in London and we have a new stadium on the way. If only we had some more positive and optimistic fans to fill it out...

Sometimes I think it's so they can say "I told you so" when it doesn't happen and sometimes because they are just of that mindset of thinking "Why be happy when you can enjoy being miserable!":joyful:

Is anyone else worried that deadline day closes at 6pm? I'm not sure if Daniel Levy can get things done that early in the day.
The window closed early when we got VDV, so I understand your concern, but these deals have been in the making for a long time. We got Lloris early on deadline day as well, iirc.

What you fail to understand is that 11pm to 11.59pm (add on an extra 30min due to broken facsimile machines / messenger pigeons being mistaken for clay pigeons etc.) is LEVYTIME. Not the whole day. Just that golden hour(and add on mins). And there's no adjusting this for CET/GMT/UTC etc. It is non-flexible.

Not to panick everyone connected with the club, the area and the nation as a whole, but WTF are we going to do between 5-6pm on deadline day? Levy will still be shining his 50 inch manhood, preparing to smack down other chairpersons with it.

We're doomed / I've got a bad feeling about this (delete as applicable for C3P0 / Human preference).

EDIT: Just in case anyone thought my post above was an attempt at sarcasm or humour, it is not. I am deadly serious. We are all doomed. To put it into context, I've included the original post (mil1lion) that I assumed was a joke and the quite serious reply (Scarecrow) that I then replied to. I've also removed the pink as it hurt my eyes too.

We got a state of the art training ground which is use to seduce top players..... and we turn their heads most of the time but bec the deals are complex or expensive, we abandon them to protect the club financials.despite this, we still challenge the top 4 though missing out CL by couple of points for the past seasons. this season we had identify the weakness and strengthen the back 4 and this will reduce significant amt of goals to make it for CL.

Those whiners should just stop buying season tickets if they cannot see the grand plan develop for the club.

Some people are glass half empty and some are glass half full. Personally I take it all with a pinch of salt and am prepared for any eventuality come deadline day.

Indoor fireworks, check. "I love Daniel Levy" T-shirt, check. Vuvuzela, check. Chilled Bollinger, check. 600 paracetamol, razor blades, length of strong rope and a rickety chair, check. I'm good to go (y).

The pink? Or the image of stroking/shining? Or both (stroking/shining something pink)?

Back to the topic of convo, ITK has given us quite the lottery for deadline day:
Illaramendi/Kramer/Bender/Rode
Berahino/Austin/other...no-one.

One hopes our squad doesn't feature only Eric Dier as the DM on the 2nd and Kane our only striker.

I don't recall the window closing early when we got VDV but may be mistaken. I seem to recall staying up really late when SSN said they have something about Spurs and a Dutch international. I'm sure it was like my bedtime when that happened.

Yeah it closed at 5 o'clock UK that time. SSN announced it with about a minute to go on their stupid big ben picture. What a day.
