I'm sure we're interested, but I'm not sure either of the Manchesters will be. United certainly won't now that VP has signed. I don't see City going for him unless Dzeko leaves.

Mental day yesterday! Barely got to read it all over here in Perth before it was archived! Great to have Ade back, I'll be sorry to see Daws go but understand it. Llorente would be awesome. If Damiao is to (finally) happen it needs to be now and not in Jan when he'd have to slot straight in and hit the ground running if Ade's off to the ACN.

And congrats to A&C, your bollock collection will be envied accross the land!

considering that they've got Podolski and Giroud (and chamakh still on their books), probably not. Plus they will be looking to find a replacement for Song...which I guess is their priority

What made yesterday so great? We signed Ade............................but we all knew this would happen. On the flip side, if the rumours about him wanting more cash is true then we've possibly just signed a problem! What happens if he scores 20+ goals this season for us and then he decides he's worth more than we're paying him, starts demanding more money then...............................well work out the rest!

We still need a GK. IMO Defoe can't do it for us so we need another striker. I feel we need a creative CM as proved in the last game and someone with pace who can cover both wings. Now that Bassong has gone and there's talk of Dawson going I just can't see us relying on Willie too much as he's injury prone......................................... having thought about all of this and seeing/hearing who's going and who's not coming in, I feel our plan for this year is just to build the team again. I don't think Levy expects a top 4 finish and would be happy with a top half finish


Now having blabbed all that out the transfer window is still open, so who knows!!

We about on par with last season squad wise at this stage ie no modric! So I am not going to panic just yet, we always do late deals.

I therefore believe top 4 is still the aim, how could it not be. Only Chelsea have really strengthened so far so why shouldn't we be aiming for the same finish. Plus whomever we bring in that is near the top, Llorente or Moutinho etc, will want to see us push for CL as they will have likely turned down offers from CL clubs to come here IF they come.

We will also need the revenue.

So no, for me dl's aim for AVB will be top 4 still IMHO.
