twitter source if same one I have seen - Spurs fan but not ITK, seems to tweet where other current mainstream rumours are. No suprise then after tweets with Leando allegedly on OS.

More likely than not it's someone browsing on their iphoneandroidwhatever. The dumb icon is a bit stupidly positioned, I've managed to hit it several times. I always remove the ratings afterwards though.

FFS. I wasn't going to believe the VDV rumours but him going will really be a kick in the fucking balls. Sig is an improvement on someone like Kranjcar, but is nowhere near VDV's level yet. We're going to struggle to replace Modric as it is. If we let VDV go as well my confidence for this season will go down the plughole.

I'm not so sure SK. I think Sig is a decent technician and good goalscorer but his overall contribution is pretty ordinary. I think Kranky offered more on the ball and was also a good goalscorer. He just never hardly got the chance to be VDV's understudy under H. I don't think Sig is a patch on VDV or ever will be.

He didn't deny we were watching Isco. I don't think JJ always confirms/denies things. Hypothetically speaking if we were interested in Isco then we probably wouldn't want to make it public. So maybe JJ wouldn't talk about it for that reason. We wouldn't want to get Chavskid again.

He's a clever guy and probably knows this.

cant fit into system and wife wanting to go to germany notwithstanding (reasonably valid reasons them...) ...

it will be a long time till we can again sign someone like VdV... not just a world class footballer, but a star... one who dazzles on and off the pitch... and not just a star, but a bloke who genuinely enjoys playing for the club and wearing the badge on the chest (see celebration when he scored against arsenal).

last 3 stars i remember watching - klinsmann, ginola, VdV.
