The deal.is to offset the modric money nothing to do with bale. I have been banging on about this since last year. We sold modders on a ridiculously cheap deal stupidly cheap. Real will give us a player on the cheap to offset the money.

the special relationship is to do with bale also but it just gives them first option if we choose to sell.

Good, that's a relief. RM should start honoring their side of things though..

Having also sold Higuain, it seems to me Madrid are pulling together some finances to afford whomever they want this summer (not Bale). If as suggested they still owe us £15-£20m for Modric, moving Coentrao on will reduce their debt obligation there allowing them to build it up elsewhere if required, plus Levy won't have to reach into his piggy bank, merely forfeit the future income from the Modric deal.

Everyone wins.

Edit: it seems actual ITK beat me to it! Hi LLM, I was guessing. ;)

Relax the deals still on for soldado. I would expect an announcement today (gut feeling). Very humorous that they will sign postiga.

I have not seen the itk on coentrao but I will back it up. We havd a choice of players from real madrid. Coentrao, higuain, morata (as a loan)

I keep forgetting about the Modric deal! Thank you, that's very reassuring.

And Soldado is still on! *excited girly squealing*

They want and need Suarez. Just awaiting Arsenal to agree a fee for him and then they will step in and buy at that price. All IMO of course.

Methinks they need a striker. Perhaps one who has a bitpart in the walking dead?

Has Madrid ever made their intentions known regarding Suarez because as far as I can see, it's been all instigated by Suarez.

Who cares, I would rather Bale be at Madrid next summer than United this one, or even next one.
if we get the players we are SUPPOSEDLY after we can finish top 3 *counting the chicks* bale gets improved deal, more sponsorship. Why would he wont to go to RM.
on a different. Swing to this, if he is not going to go now due to newly fatherhood, i doubt when his child is 1 or 2 he would contemplate going to a new country. Baby mother wont be having that.

I'm curious to know if bentek and chadli share the same agent... If it is the case I think we have helped benteke to have a better deal and then signed chadli easily

Nope, no link there. Benteke does share an agent with Mounir El Hamdaoui though!

You are a grumpy teddy weddy bear today! Did sir give you another paddling in the Public School's showers in front of the ground staff again?
And that would make me grumpy? I pay good money for action like that

would be nice if we got coentrao. just a shame that bid I put on him to sign for us about a month ago at 67/1 was just a half a pound for fun.

Yep, it's very telling that Real have said pretty much nothing about him so far - we know how pushy they are when they want a player! Would be hilarious if Suarez has just invented the whole thing in his head and they aren't interested...

There should be a short baldheaded man in a suit, as a rating for this one.. ;)

Great minds think alike and all that. :)

Madrid recently made a small payment so I think it is down to 12.million owed now for modders.

Hmm. £12m credit at the Madrid shop eh?

Order a load of 'Suarez' shirts and distribute them around Madrid, y'know, get the fans on side. We all know how the president likes to appease his fans. :)
