....that tonight's gonna be a good good night..... #SCITK

Hmm. My Spidey sense is tingling. I think it's time to find a good Willian face build on Pro Evo!

Depends if Akqayid is independently getting this ITK from an actual source and it is supporting what another ITK has said or if he is jumping on the bandwagon of the ITK who made the BEP reference and expanding on it by naming one of their songs even though he himself has not been told by a source (although I suppose its not out of the question that separate ITK's would make the Will.I.am link)

I found this on Wiki. Anybody know if he signed an extension or this information is off?

On 23 August 2007, he signed a 5-year contract with Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk for £12 million until 30 June 2012

Must have extended, but the story of Shakhtar rejecting £26M from Chelsea is incredibly hard to believe, nothing from his stats suggest he's worth anything near that. Never really seen him play but from his limited goals in Ukraine and the couple youtubes I just saw, looks more like a Marin-level player - nice wing cover/competion but nothing to break the bank over. Anyone seen him or can find his assist stats? Am I missing something?

Edit - did a little more digging and looks like he did have a lot of assists in the last two seasons i guess, and Shaktahr's chairman was willing to let him go to Chelsea last Jan. for €30M.

total shit . if madrid want him like they say they will get him . yes they are trying to save a few quid but spurs wont relent .. thats obvious but we are not talking about dealings between spurs and madrid and modric here. im talking about spurs as the buying club not selling club.

listen i cud ramble on and on like you can but bottom line is .. if spurs want to challenge and go for trophies then proper players cost decent money. bidding pennies for them isnt going to work and pronlongng the whole process. end of.

if there is an agreement between a player (that he wants to leave and would be interested in joining spurs) and his club then get the deal done asap thats all im saying. we missed out loads of times im sure . now i know agents come into play here and they get up to all kinds of shite but levy is around long enough now. i think spurs are naive in transfer market myself and not clinical or decisive enough.

Well that's rubbish as well as by all accounts we got Vertonghen cheaper than Ajax originally wanted to sell.

This is not just a Tottenham issue, every club has deals that drag on for a good while. Why hasn't van Persie left yet?

Also, you're clearly a heartless guy as well, since Levy is in the middle of caring for his sick wife, as well as trying to juggle your ridiculous expectations.

You really need to look at this before calling people stupid.

I earn 100k a week. I pay roughly 45k tax.
I then set up a charity paying 45k a week into it. I now pay no tax.

If it is a UK charity, by law 40% of the money raised actually needs to go to the cause. Thus I can pocket 30k of the 45k I put in.
For an African charity I bet it's a lot more

Your math is WAY off. If you contribute 45k, you DEDUCT that from your taxable income. It's not a tax CREDIT, so the benefit is whatever your tax bracket is. Regardless, a big chunk of money is going to charity that otherwise wouldn't.

Ade is paid circa £175k per week or £9m pa by ManCity. Prior to the FPP rules owners such as those of Man City, PSG, Chelsea etc could afford to pay those size wages - those size wages cannot be afforded by any club out of their football revenues.

That makes Ade almost unsaleable, and using that Levy has negotiated a low Transfer fee and wages (maybe £100k/120k pw possibly with a sizeable sign on fee - probably similar to the wages he forgoes for the rest of his 2 year Man City contract).

Agree but City could just give him to us for free and we pay the charity 5m over 2 years instead of giving City 5m over 2 years which is what Levy is trying to do. We give Adebayor 100k per week for 3 years and City save 18m for releasing him for nothing.

When he is 31 he can go to China and earn double

So he will cost spurs a total of 15m for 3 years service. Still expensive but it's not that expensive for a proven PL player aged 28

IMO Ade is now going back to Man City and asking them to pay for his forgone wages - but putting it as them paying for his charity donations (it sounds much better) - nothing more and nothing less. His negotiating position with Man City is very simple - if he does not leave they need to pay £9m pa or £18m in total over 2 years. That is why Man City may pay something - if its £50k pw or £2.5m pa it may seem a lot less to Man city than paying £9m pa.

Its clealy possible that those negotiations betwen Ade and Man Coty may go on for some time (think Vertonghen(
