Yes it is.

By their very definition official announcements have nothing to do with a thread designed to discuss the unofficial business occurring behind closed curtains.

I used them as examples of something happening at this time. Of course there have been instances of JJ posting at stupid o'clock, so again not an adequate excuse.

Well as it is 5am in the uk, I'll post some itk for you...and if its deemed worthy / useful A&C can add it to his shiney new thread.

I can tell you AEG have, for at least 1 year being actively looking at investing in EPL football clubs. About 1 year ago I had a rather long discussion with one of there investment bods based over here in Asia (where it is nearer mid-day) at that time they were looking at Liverpool.

from the conversation, it was something that they, AEG, really wanted to do...I hasten to add that at this time, they were not looking to buy Pool,or shares of it, but investing specifically via, in Pools case naming rights.

The simple fact is AEG are actively looking at investment opportunities in EPL

So i would not be surprised if AEG do end up buying a share of Spurs.

This true but not coming top 4 basically ruined it on top of the fact it is looking extremely unlikely now that FSG will build a brand new stadium. There re already rumours flying around their thinking of selling up.
