How much do we have to donate to build a batman style light with JJ on it that we can project onto the moon?

Definitely not ITK but you've got to love the Mail's headline re the Bale news.

'Bale commits himself to Spurs with four-year deal but Modric eyes exit'

Can't even complete one single sentence without reverting to the 'SPURS CRISIS' schtick, even on a day when we've secured the services of one of the most sought over players in Europe for at least another season. They really are a massive bunch of c.........http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/search.html?s=&authornamef=Sami+Mokbel

Hmmm. Talking about mirror masturbation is not ITK related.

Stop. Please.

The coaching team better include an assistant who can step in straight away ie Jol for Santini because this appointment of AVB is going to be a terrible mistake by Levy and the other board members.

How he can make such a mess of managing the Chavs and then be given the chance to manage our club is beyond me. He must be the luckiest manager alive or he has a photograph of Levy and other board members caught in compromising positions with animals and blackmailing for the job.

Gutted he has been given the oppertunity to try and ressurect his career at our club.

That is interesting but he could just be 'signing off' for the night in Brazil and not actually physically going to bed.

Harry marginalised Defoe, amazing all those who'd bought into the belief that JD was Harry's love-child.

He's useful, and last season, just for once, lived up to his billing of 'our most clinical striker'. But I simply don't see how he'd fit into any system but a 4-4-2 as a starter, and 4-4-2 ain't going to happen next season. He's proved himself highly effective as an impact striker coming on as a sub (despite the bollocks we used to hear from the JDFC a few years ago that he needed a run of games) but I honestly can't see him being happy in that role.

So, farewell then, JD.

Agree 100%.

I like JD, but he is only useful in a 4-4-2 and even then as part of a big man/little man combo. We have gradually been moving away from this system.

Defoe is an anachronism in the age of the 'all round centre forward'. Serves him right really for being a selfish little git and never putting in the work to improve his all round game.

Aw, but he's a yiddo!

Although I must say, I would be a lot fonder of JD as a player if he'd ever learned the offside rule.

Disagree with that. Since moving to Portsmouth his allround game improved a lot and last season he was often found holding the ball up and laying it off to team mates. I just don't think he has the attributes, it's not possible for everyone short and bulky to learn to be Tevez.

Yeah, perhaps you're right. Although the fact that the likes of Teves and Aguero exist and play in the Prem casts JD in a rather unfavourable light.

You're right of course, but he has never improved the one aspect of his game which could elevate him from ordinary to 'undroppable': movement. I once heard that one of our coaches showed him taps of Greaves' goals for him to learn from. Right idea, wrong example: he should've shown him film of Lineker.

Apologies if this has been posted already, but Tango97 backed up his earlier Leandro 'ITK' by posting this at about 9:45 pm on COYS:
Just a quick clarification.

It was not "an airport sighting". It is a cast iron encounter.

As I said earlier, not sure who the club was that they met, it is a fair assumption that it was us as we are known to use hotels in Canary Wharf.

What's this regarding Spud? I missed the earlier ITK. Cheers.
Sorry, I should've made it clear: he said Leandro was in London meeting an un-named club at a Canary Wharf hotel. I've edited my post to specify Leandro. A tweet posted a couple of pages back (and on the Tw****r thread) shows a tweet from Leandro saying goodnight at about midnight UK time, which is apparently only around 8pm in Brazil.

In case you weren't aware, they were in 5th when he got sacked. Would hardly call that making a mess of things.
