@Mr Pink . I know words do not mean a lot, but thoughts are with you. My missus lost her son at 13 nearly 10 years ago to a brain tumor that spread right through his body. He was a trooper. Kept his humour throughout, made his peace with the world, and met his maker after a bloody hard 18 month fight. I was with him the whole way.

The big C is a horrible affliction. Be close, enjoy the moments and stay positive.

Have you ever looked at how far away from every other comment button the spam button is? To the extreme right of all the other neg reps. I think it was positioned there deliberately by the mods to minimize errors, so I only see intent.

Bullshit, I accidentally spammed a rating just yesterday. You can’t be that absolute about people’s intentions unless it’s really obvious and conclusive, otherwise we create an online vigilante culture that becomes depressingly righteous and hostile

But it's also close to where the scrolling thumb can be. I like to give the benefit of the doubt first.

Its the rating i miss hit the most because I have tendency to scroll on the right hand side of the phone rather than the middle

This incident aside, if you get a rating you don't like, you know, 'why did you give me a spam" or 'why the disagree', that kind of thing..............instead of inflicting it on everyone else (who I can pretty much guarantee don't give a shit) send the perp a PM and clear it up politely, behind the scenes. That goes for any thread not just this one.
